So, DS (4) has multiple food allergies and is thirlled to pieces that Disney World actually carries rice pizza for him to eat. He has NEVER been able to order pizza in a restaurant before. So, although I'm not a huge pizza fan, we are destined to eat pizza at least once on our trip. Below is a list of the places that carry DS's gluten free pizza. Which would you recommend for its regular pizza or other food that is served there (for the rest of us)?

MK
Pinocchio Village Haus
Epcot
Liberty Inn
AK
Pizzafari
DHS
Toy Story Pizza Planet

So, which of these places has the most decent food for the grown-ups who have no food allergies? TIA! --Katie

My entire family (including DD (7) who doesn't like anything), loved the pizza at Toy Story Pizza Planet. This is the only one you have listed, we tried, but we will definately go back.:thumbsup2

We like Pizzafari. Their caesar salad and italian sandwich are decent although nothing extraordinary.

If you want to make it really special for your 4 year old though, I would suggest Pizza Planet. My kids love the atmosphere and it's not like DHS has a wonderful CS place that you would be missing out on if you ate there.

We (DS12, DD18, me) all enjoyed Pizza Planet. It was better than I had expected, kind of a cross between Boboli bread shell pizza & Domino's :thumbsup2

I like the pizza at Pinocchio's. It's got a kind of thick crust, and good flavor sauce and toppings.

Loved pizza planet -- and the kids loved that it was from the Toy Story Movie -- though we didn't do the arcade, just sat outside, which was nice and a bit more peaceful! Grandparents got a salad which they liked and we got the pizza which was really good!

Remember that you don't have to eat at the same place as your son. You can get your food from anywhere as "to go" and then carry it to wherever your son wants to eat. This is especially great at Epcot. My son will get nachos in Mexico, I'll get egg rolls and pot stickers in China, and we'll carry ours to America where my husband gets a cheeseburger. The Liberty Inn always has at least outdoor seating for all of us. We then get our drinks at the last place. Works out wonderful.

Yes, this is true. However, there is literally NO decent CS pizza to be found in Epcot, so this doesn't work here. The ONLY CS pizza in Epcot is at that stand outside of Test Track, which is NOWHERE near anything else, so carrying food over would be a waste, since anything else would be so cold by the time you ate it, it would taste awful. Good suggestion though, in general.

I would suggest:

Toy Story Pizza Planet
Pizzafari

The pizza at both these places is decent. Tastes kinda like frozen DiGiorno/Freschetta type pizza, so it's okay.

Pizzafari, especially, has other options for adults which are good (sandwiches and salads mentioned above), so your son can eat pizza and you can eat something else. Plus, it has indoor seating, which is a plus.

No matter where you eat in WDW the CS pizza
is exactly the same--it is the small frozen pizzas
that rise whenever they are baked.
They all taste the same no matter where you decide to eat them.

Honestly the pizza is blech in all of WDW but we did eat at Pizza Planet and it was just ok, we had to put ranch dressing on the pizza to give it flavor. My nieces had pizza at Coral Reef and it was gross, just a pita bread with sauce and cheese...nasty

We thought that Pizza planet was pretty decent...though the selection in very narrow. The kids love pizza so it's an easy choice for them haha.

I think we'll go for pizza planet. I think the PP who said that we won't be missing out on any other great counter service at DHS hit the nail on the head! :thumbsup2 There are places we want to try in Epcot, MK and AK, but from all the bad food reviews I've read on here about DHS  , we'll be ok with just eating pizza there! Of course, we are having Italian that evening at Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic Package-- too much Italian?? What do you guys think? Thanks for all your replies! --Katie

That's my vote!!!! Though I plan on trying Pizzafari and Pizza Planet ASAP.

Pinocchio's is fun though. I got a table by the window so I could wave to the kids riding Small World.:goodvibes It was fun to watch their faces light up when they saw someone wave to them.
