What are everyones choices for best CS at each park?? Also any favorites at the resorts we should not miss? First time trip on the DDP in November so this would really help!! Thanks
:worship:

We loved all the CS meals we ate! We loved the WDW food in general! Here are the places we ate and what I ate and loved there:

MK: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe for lunch (Tomorrowland). Bacon double cheeseburger with fries (my CS splurge!!), strawberry yogurt for dessert. DH ahd the same as me, but chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was delicious! Kids' menu is nice too. They also have other stations to order different foods, including ribs!

Epcot: Tangierine Cafe for lunch (Morocco). Definitely was worth the walk to there from Test Track!! DH and I each had the combo platter with chicken and lamb. Everything was delicious and some of the best baklava! The kids shared chicken fingers meal (huge!). They are only 3 and 1 so it was plenty for them!

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ (lunch). I had the pulled pork sandwich and added BBQ sauce, delicious! Came with beans I think. DH had ribs and he loved them. DS3 had a hot dog, and DS1 shared my sandwich with me. Delicious key lime pie for dessert.

DHS: Toy Story Pizza Planet (lunch). Since I am a Brooklyn, NY pizza snob, I ordered the Pizza Planet chicken salad and I loved it. This was actually the only time ever in my life that I ate something with cantaloupe in it and actually liked the cantaloupe! DS3 and DS1 shared the cheese pizza. DH had the combo meal with veggie pizza and salad. I tasted the pizza and it actually was not bad, even to me. DH liked it and the kids loved it. We had apple slices for dessert but I was not crazy about them. They were packaged and of course had something on them to prevent browning. Funny taste, so I did not finish.

And the other CS meal we had was at the hotel we stayed in, Pop Century. It was our arrival day and for lunch. I had the Mediterranean chicken flatbread. It was made to order and delicious. I had a chocolate-dipped Mickey rice krispie treat for my dessert. DH had a philly cheesesteak (a wrap I think), fries and a Haagen Dazs ice cream bar for dessert. DS3 and DS1 shared a kids' cheeseburger and fries and applesauce, though DS3 ate most of the burger because I also shared my flatbread with DS1 (it was huge!).

We enjoyed all our CS meals. We look forward to future trips and sampling other places!!

We enjoy the Wolfgang Puck Express, and Earl's Sandwich place in DTD!!

In MK Cosmic Rays has a combo 1/2 chicken and ribs with mashed potatoes and veg that we actually shared and had some left over. We were able to get this on the DDP along with a drink and dessert. They also have a fixins bar with mushrooms and onions that are yummy. Tomatoes and other fixins are available as well.

Columbia Harbor House also is pretty good with chicken and fish offerings, but Cosmic Rays is the best deal.

In EPCOT, Sunshine Seasons in the Land is our favorite. It is a food court with a lot of variety as well as it has ice cream and a bakery for desserts.

Flame Tree in AK is great with barbeque items and the CS (can't remember name, sorry) near Dinosaur is great for burgers as well (fixins bar here too)

I'm not too crazy about the CS in DHS.

The food courts in the ASMu is pretty good and has salads made to order fresh in front of you as well as turkey and chicken dinners. They aslo have pizza and burgers and fresh sundeas that are included included in the DDP.

The Poly has great CS as well the asian salad is good as well as an asian noodle meal. They have great desserts that include Dole Whip.

MK: Cosmic Rays: chicken and rib combo

AK: Flame Tree BBQ: ribs

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, French Bakery, Norwegian Bakery, or Tangeriene Cafe

DS: nothing--take a boat to Epcot

Resort: Coronado Springs Pepper Market (steak or taco salad) or Polynesian Cap'n Cooks (don't laugh but I love their adult grilled cheese sandwich:cloud9: ). the new sushi bar is good too.

DTD: Wolfgang Puck's Express:cloud9:

MK: Cosmic Rays
Columbia Harbour

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
Tangierine Cafe

DHS: None, we eat at our resort

AK: Flame Tree

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue & Pizzafari.

Downtown Disney: Earl of Sandwich.

Grand Floridian: Gasparilla's Grill & Games.

Because it wasn't mentioned we LOVE Mara at AKL. It is the same food from Boma I think. Either way best falafel and couscous I've ever had!

I thought Pecos Bills at MK was really good. Good burgers with a big buffet for all the fixings. I don't remember having any other CS meals at MK though. Will definitely hit Columbia Harbor, Cosmic Rays, and Pecos Bills in May.

At Epcot, we'll probably Liberty Inn, Sommerfest, and Tangierine Cafe.

At AK, it'll be the Flame Tree BBQ again. For our time at MGM, we'll probably be there in the mornings and have CS in Epcot.

MK - Cosmic Rays or Pecos Bill
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons
AK - Flaming Tree Barbeque
DHS - Backlot Express
DTD - Wolfgang Puck Express

Magic Kingdom: Tie between Cosmic Rays and Pecos Bill

MK: The turkey Panini at Pinocchio's Village Haus

Epcot: Sunshine seasons

DHS: Take a sandwich with you

AK: Flame Tree

Unfortunately, the turkey panini at Pinocchio's is gone off the menu. It was my favorite too...but now it is mostly pizza and salads.

MK: Cosmic Ray's (love the fixin's bar); runner-up: Columbia Harbor House
Epcot: I know I'm in the minority, but I love the Cantina in Mexico;
runner-up: Electric Umbrella

AK: Can't help you - we loved Tusker House when we ate there in 2006, but it is now a buffet, I think. I"ve heard it's good, though.

DS (still MGM to me): pack a sandwich or take the boat over to EPCOT or one of the resorts (I love the restaurants at the Boardwaok, but I don't think any are CS).

Good luck to you!

Tracie
