Best Crowd predictor and touring plan advice

I really don't think there are reliable crowd predictors any more. Disney uses all that data collected with MM+ to adjust staffing in slower times, making slower times not feel as slow. So it's just too unpredictable.

Josh at Easy WDW still does the crowd calendars, but they are different now, and he can't really post them until Disney finally decides to post updated park hours. Here lately they've been waiting until the end of the month before to update hours which really makes planning tricky. I just looked at last year's calendar and did the best I could!

I look at Kenny's and touring plans. I do have years of traveling there so do the usual avoid park with emh unless hoping, park the day after an emh...that kind of thing. No MK on a Sat or Monday..I imagine no AK on a Sat will be the case once Pandora opens as well.

Undercover Tourist has one that's pretty easy to use. Keep in mind the comments about changing park hours. I especially would not trust any AK predictions that are put out before the end of June- they'll need several weeks of data from Pandora to get a good estimate of how busy it will be.

But yay for a girls trip!! So fun :)

Thank you! Sounds good and pretty close to what I was thinking. We'll be touring Thursday to Monday. I'm thinking AK on Thursday, EpCot on Friday, Hollywood Studio on Sat., and MK on Sunday.
Keep in mind that Epcot on a Friday night during the F&WF will be a mad house.

I am using Touringplans.com for the first time, so I can't comment about the accuracy of the crowd predictors. I do, however, like the feature which allows you to enter a dining reservation request and receive a text when an opening becomes available. I had to wait about a month, but did end up getting BOG dinner reservations. You might want to give this a try if you can't get the reservations you want. Enjoy your trip :)

I haven't been in three years and just last night got talked into a girl's trip. I'm super excited but since we're already past the 6 month window for dining reservations, I feel like I have some catching up to do.

What is your opinion on the best crowd predictor for daily park choices and touring plans?

Three years ago, I used Easywdw. It worked well but last night, I couldn't even find crowd calendars for the Fall. Prior to that I used Touringplans.com. It also worked well but I found it more difficult to navigate and not very user friendly.
I think more important than a crowd predictor is having a solid plan. We go on the 'worst' days and have a wonderful time. We are stuck though due to family schedules with work and kids school and sports our family vacations are pretty limited to 4th of July week or Christmas week. We will be at MK on the Saturday before the 4th of July. Will it be crowded? you betcha, will we ride everything we want yes! Use Josh, Kenny, Lines, whatever - just have a plan and it will be fabulous.

I have used and loved touringplans.com. It's worth the cost to subscribe and they have so many extra tools to utilize!

I use a combination of EasyWDW, touring plans, and undercover tourist. Some days they all agree, other days they don't. For days they don't, I rely heavily on EasyWDWs narrative of why days are recommended or not. This advice is very good and it applies to months in which the crowd calendar has not yet been published. For example, EasyWDWs October calendar isn't out yet, but using the logic of EMHs remaining constant, I know what parks to avoid and why based on the. narrative in other months. For the most part, recommended days each week don't change unless there is a holiday or event. This seems to work for me.
