Best Counter/Quick Service NOT in a park?

Another vote for Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD Marketplace. My kids still talk about it, and we can't wait to go back in June!! Great selection, great food...I'm getting hungry.

Not that it really needs it, but here's another vote for Wolfgang Puck Express. I actually thought it was table service on the DDP, and was surprised when I found out it wasn't. And afterwards, there's a huge, awesome pin store in DTD that was my favorite shop there--a great place to get those last minute gifts. I probably spent nearly an hour there looking at all the pins on my last trip.

I don't get the appeal of Wolfgang Puck Express, but lots of folks like it. For my money, I'd much rather go to the AllStars resort counter service (lots of value for the money) or Contempo Cafe.

At the moment the Pepper Market is an all you can eat restaurant for breakfast and lunch, but still a regular CS for dinner. It's just in a trial phase right now (started Dec 4th). You go up to any of the stations and order whatever you want. Can go to as many stations as you want too. It's still counts as a CS for all three meals though. I'm not happy about it. It changed over while I was there, during my recent Nov 26th-Dec 4th trip. I was able to get my favorite fruit plate or chicken nachos on Saturday, but then on Sunday I couldn't, unless I paid the full buffet price. It's a great deal if you are on the DDP though.

We also like Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD and the PORS food court. We are not big fans of CS normally, but would go out of our way for these.

Earl of Sandwich (tried it for the first time last trip) both food courts at Riverside and French quarter, Goods to Go at OKW and lots of others.

We will try WPE this next trip to see what it is like :)

Wolfgang Puck Express- our group of 11 loved it last week. Unfortunately we didn't go there until our last day and would have gone there more often if we have eaten there earlier in the week. It was the best value QS meal we had on our food plan.

Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney and the food court at Riverside - they have a create-your-own-pasta section, yum! :cloud9:
