I Have A Question Or Two I'm Visiting Disney For Christmas2008,Me My Dh & My Nephew Who Is 9.I'm Staying AKL CL In Sept,Now I Feel I Should Try Somewhere Different At Christmas & I'm Looking At Either WL CL Or AKL CL If Possible I Would Like To Hear Folk's Opinion's On WL & AKL & The Club Level's In Both Resorts & How They Differ If Indeed They Do Are Both Resorts Beautifully Decorated For Christmas?? I Guess They Are,I Have Priced Both At CL And WL Is More Expensive So Whats The Inside Track On AKL CL & WL CL?? I Had Thought About Doing So Many Nights CL & The Rest Offsite But That Doesnt Appeal To Me Now How Quickly Do Those Resorts Get Booked Up For Christmas?? Are They Usually Booked Solid By July??

Since you're already doing AKL CL in September I would recommend giving WL CL a try for Christmas. The decorations and the Christmas feeling at the WL can't be beat! And they have a wonderful concierge staff there and great food offerings. WL might be more expensive depending on which views you are pricing out. Courtyard is their most expensive view. Definitely book something quickly and then you'll have time to change your mind later if you want, but for now I'd book something before everything is gone!

Based on what I have read here a lot of people say the Wilderness Lodge is a great location at Christmas and others have been saying they have had trouble getting rooms there before Christmas, so I would say it's a good chance the Club Level rooms will sell our or might already be sold out.

That's correct, you cannot book a particular view. When you make your reservation, you can request something specific with the IPO department there.

At the AKL, the standard club rooms are not on the same floor as the club level. The rooms may be priced a little lower for that inconvenience.

At the Contemporary and Polynesian they did not have any special food offerings for Christmas.

The Deluxe rooms are not on the 7th floor where the club lounge is located so keep that in mind. The WL is pricing out more due to the contruction at AKL so I was told when I was there. WL is closer to MK as well. The rooms at both places on club level are the same. Ask when you book that you want bunk beds. The deluxe's rooms are located on different floors. WL Club level does book fast & if you are usually someone else other than Disney they could be wrong on what they have avai. Can't you book through Disney Travel Company? Good luck
