Best Character Meals

Travelling with DD 10 and Dcousin (Male) 8 - wanted to do 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners, have 1900 Park Fare for Dinner and Ohana's for breakfast decided, any other suggestions for a character breakfast and dinner (we do want to have one with Mickey)

Ohana breakfast is awesome, we loved it so much we are going back next month!

We have only done Chef Mickey's for dinner--it was okay. We love Crystal Palace for Breakfast with Pooh and friends. Especially love the potato casserole and the puffed french toast. We also enjoyed Cape May Cafe for breakfast last year with Minnie, Goofy and Donald (although it was Chip & Dale while we were there)...but Crystal Palace is our favorite.

The only character meal my family and I have done is Chef Mickey's for dinner a few times and we thought it was a great atmosphere, so that's what I would recommend.

Donald's Breakfast Safari at Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom is very yummy. We go every trip. Mickey is usually at this one in his Safari garb. Last June when we were there we saw Donald, Goofy, Mickey and Daisy.

We the Crystal Palace (I *think* we've always gone at lunchtime).

We did the Donald's Safari Breakfast and Chef Mickey's breakfast this past week and both of those were really yummy.

Are you interested in food quality or the character experiance? I would have to say that most of the character meals are not that good. But I would have to vote for Chef Mickeys. Lots of the "popular Characters", and decent food selection.

We love Crystal Palace with Pooh & Friends - we eat breakfast there every trip - it's delicious!

Breakfast at 'Ohana with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey & Pluto is another great one - we've had some of the best character interaction here & it's great that they bring the food to your table.

Cape May is another great one for breakfast for great character interaction, but we've never seen Mickey at this one.

We didn't care for the character breakfast at AK, but we haven't been since they moved locations, so maybe it's better now...

Ohanas (Polynesian Resort)would be my last place pick characterwise. There were only 3 and they took a LONG time getting to each table.

I have only done Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's for breakfast, but both were pretty good. Chef Mickey's was the better of the two in my opinion due to great character interaction. Crystal Palace was also great, but in my experience some of the characters rushed by us pretty quickly. It could of just been an off day though!

'Ohana breakfast is our favorite character meal. Chef Mickey has excellent character interaction but the food isn't that great (breakfast or dinner). Crystal Palace has good food (breakfast and dinner), as does 1900 Park Fare (breakfast).

If you need one more dinner and one more breakfast, definitely add Chef Mickey's for dinner (chars for kids and great food for adults) and either Akershsus for breakfast (if you need a princess fix without lines) or Dinald's Safari Breakfast. Those were the best two breakfasts all week (including non-character ones. The food was just that good).

Chef Mickey and Garden Grill (in Epcot) were great character meals....food was okay as was most of the food during our trip but the characters were very interactive with our girls (one of whom as TERRIFIED of all non face characters...they waved from a distance and did not get in her face ....Dale actually "ignored" her and sat w/ my older dd and"ate" her dinner)

Crystal Palace was great for dinner and Pooh and friends are there

Akershus Royal Banquet is great for lots of princess time w/o waits...breakfast was good there...
