Where do they serve the best food? During our trip, Crystal Palace will be closed. Thanks.

I think you are going to get a whole bunch of different responses as every person has different likes and dislikes. Personally, my family thinks that the food from 1900 Park Fare happens to be the best for dinner. Crystal Palace wins the vote for breakfast.:)

Breakfast: CP....good food--great selection! and great service
Lunch: Akershus...nice salad bar (koldbord <sp>?) and interesting entree choices and marvelous princess interaction. If you are not adventurous in your eating--this may not be the place for you. I happen to like the unusual.
Dinner: CM was a very, very pleasant surprise earlier this month. The food was really good! Somehow, I had lowered my expectations based on a few reviews but our meal was lovely.:wizard:

Breakfast - Cape May Cafe and Crystal Palace!!

Dinner - DH LOVES Chef Mickey's! I love the Garden Grill at Epcot most for dinner!

Honestly? None of them....we have found the character meals to be great for breakfast but ick for dinner, the food is not the best quality, too salty, too greasy etc

I was just thinking about Chef MIckey's.. so that is my vote! It had mixed reviews, mostly bad though.. i kept my adr anyway and we had a great time!
the pork was bloody but the chef insisted it was ok, and cooking pork til its juices are clear is just an 'old' thing.. he came to my table b/c i let the waitress know it was bloody... ewww!!! old or not, it shouldnt be bloody and i had an outside piece! Oh wait, this is supposed to be positive, lol.. the dessert selection was fantastic! the food was good too and plenty of variety. i had a great time w/ the characters too. We went right at 5pm so no wait really on the characters.

:thumbsup2

We're doing all character breakfasts this trip. Tried Chef Mickey's for late lunch last time (lunch was added during that free dining period) and I thought it was pretty awful. I'd try it for breakfast but not again for lunch or for dinner. We also did 1900 Park Fare for dinner last time and loved it, but that was when it was temporarily in the Grand Floridan Cafe and sit-down rather than buffet (due to renovations). With its regular set-up, I'm not interested in going there - too many bad reviews and I just know we'd end up sitting in that hallway area. LOL

Isn't Liberty Tree Tavern going to be a character meal when Crystal Palace is closed? If you really want a character meal dinner, I'd suggest looking into LTT.
