Best Character Dining Experience?

This is sort of a two question in one thread.

1) What would you say is the best Character Dining Restaurant in all of WDW. Consider Food Quality, Character Interaction, Service, etc.

2) What is your greatest memory from a Character Dining Experience(personal stories). For example, when we ate at the Garden Grill in Epcot and Pluto stole our salt, making us chase him around the entire restaurant and putting on quite a show for everyone else eating there.

My husband and I had a great dinner experience at Liberty Tree Tavern with Goofy, Chip/Dale, Minnie and Pluto. Everyone visited our table for pictures, even though we are two grown adults. The meal was very yummy too especially the macaroni n cheese.

We also ate at Cinderella's Royal Table. The food was different, I would prefer to eat something else next time. The interaction was great though. We went during our honeymoon for lunch, so they gave us the best seat in the house. We also received lots of attention and free Cinderella Royal Table champagne glasses. The overall experience was delighful!

I would recommend both.

Another vote here for dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern, after a busy day at the Magic Kingdom, the atmosphere just seems more laid back and low key, the food is decent (not great, but better than most of the buffets) and the character interaction is the best we've ever had.

The characters actually take the time to interact with you for a few minutes rather than do the quick snap the picture, sign the book and walk away thing. In fact, on our last visit, they came around so often and stayed so long, we didn't need to take any more pictures and found ourselves running out of things to say to them.

Chef mickey breakfast food was ok, characters were ok this time, Pluto missed entirely but Donald was a blast. DS4 had on his Mickey ears and Donald got "mad" and made DS4 take them off. I thought DS4 was going to cry but he just laughed and just sat there in amazement. Then Donald signed his book "Donald Duck #1" very funny.

CP lunch food was excellent. DH was very impressed by the food. Characters were good, nothing special happen but they were attentive.

H&V breakfast Playhouse Disney. if your kids watch Plyahouse Disney this was a lot of fun. DS4 was thrilled bc Leo from the Little Eienstiens was there and he sleeps with him. Ds4 was actually shaking he was so star struck and excited.

Garden Grill Lunch Happily surprised bc I read so many bad reviews. Food was good served FAMILY STYLE (someone asked about that!) and the characters were awesome. Farmer Mickey and Pluto were awesome. They allowed DS4 to give them kisses and he asked if he could do "nosy nosy" (rub noses with them) and they were glad to do it! They were also very good with DS9 and gave him many more hugs and high fives then some of the others. Chip and Dale were great too!
