Best campsite?

Wandering if I should choose my own camp site or let FW assign one for me? We will be needing the site with water/elec/sewer with a 27 ft pull-behind. Any suggestions? Traveling with DH and DS6, DS4. Thinking about renting a golf cart too. Can you ride these to catch a bus to Disney and leave it there or does it have to stay at the campsite?
I have LOTS more questions!

We always just let them pick a site for us and only once did they give us one too little. A quick call from the comfort station phone to the front desk got us an apology and another site. Now we request a loop because we've developed a favorite, but they are all nice!

Yes, there are golf cart parking areas by the Outpost and Settlement bus stops and at the marina, as well as at the pools and Trading posts and playgrounds. We love the golf carts--our kids always thought it was another fun ride like Splash Mountain!

It sounds like you have a full hook up (no cable) so I would recommend the 1000 loop w/ small kids--we just stayed there (w/ 9,6,3 yo's) in May and loved it! When we don't go "preferred" we will request this loop. It is directly across from the Meadows trading post, close enough to ride bikes to the pool, and campfire. Don't forget your bike helmets! We always forget ours. A tt your size will fit in alot of the spaces in that loop. When you check in, just ask the cm if you can see the "site map" and that will show you the layout of the loop (sorry doesn't show the trees and trashcans!) so you can see if it might be too tight of a turn to get in. We were lucky in May the spot was very easy to get into just was a tad too short for tt and vehicle so we had to park weird.
