Best By Date

I posted this on the Cooking thread too but then I thought that the great people in the Budget Board would know...

I have a cake mix with a best by date of Dec. 8, 2010. Is it still ok for me to use it today?

Oh, goodness yes! I have used cake mixes at least 6 months after the best by date and they are fine.

Totally fine to eat. Interesting article that you might like about food. It does cover expiration dates so not OT.
