This is our first time staying in Disney and we chose the Pop resort. Which building is the best to stay in? I know requests aren't always fullfilled, but I figured I would try. Thanks so much.

We stayed at the PoP last May for the first time. Not knowing the layout we took our chances and ended up in the 70s building, the Micky Phone. We were on the back side facing the lake and it was very quiet. It is quite a walk from the parking lot, but close to the Everything POP food court and merchandise store. The buses are right outside EP, so we couldn't have been luckier!

We have stayed at the 70's, 80's and 60's in that order.
70's is better in our opinion if you are able to get one that faces the parking lot or near there... It is a short walk to the Food Court and parking lot. The 80's is close to the parking lot but much further away from the food court. I was not impressed with the 60's location. Yeah, it is close to the pool and food court, but it is a pretty good walk to the parking lot or the buses.

Thanks for the comments. Anyone else? I thought a bunch of peopple had comments on Pop?

I like the 50's building 1 specifically, its not considered a preferred location, but its still very close to the foodcourt

Stayed in 50's in August with dd. We were in bldg 2, furthest away of the 50's bldgs., third floor, way in the back. We could watch the fireworks from IllumiNations if we just went around the corner by our room. It was a very quiet room. It was about a 7 minute walk to the food court/buses. We didn't think it was too out of the way, but we don't mind a bit of a walk.

I was looking to stay in the 50's building also. I had heard it was quiet. Any room suggestions. We would like to be on the 4th floor so we do not have the overhead noise. Also, we would like to be facing the lake, but preferably not the pool. Also if possible, see illuminations. OK so I am asking a lot, sorry! Any suggestions?

Just got back from the POP...we stayed in the 50's building and we loved it...the pool is a bowling pin! It is also close to the lobby...as well as the 70's building. We ended up with a parking space right up front and didn't have to walk far! My suggestion would be either the 50's or the 70's..both are close to the lobby and not that far to catch the buses!

We were on the first floor and faced the pool....the noise didn't really bother us, but we live right beside trains!

Have a blast!
