:confused3 Hi Everyone! I've never done a Disney Buffet breakfast and am looking to do one for my next trip! Any suggestions on which are the best around the world?

There are lots of really good Character Breakfasts around like Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, and Cape May Cafe. All are very good. If the whole character thing is not for you, I have heard lots of wonderful things about the breakfast buffet at Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge (which I am dying to try someday)!

Our family's favorite is Crystal Palace. Our tradition is to eat breakfast there on our first morning and to get a seating before the park opens. We enjoy the food and the character interaction, but we also enjoy walking to the restaurant in a virtually empty park. We are able to get our pictures in front of the castle without dodging other people and it is a wonderful start to our day.

We also like Chef Mickey's and eat breakfast there every trip.

We like Cape May and Boma. We've never tried Crystal Palace, though we'd like to sometime. On our trip in October we're planning to have breakfast at Boma, and on our March BCV trip we're going to have at least one breakfast at Cape May! In March we're also planning to try Fresh at the Dolphin; we've heard very good things about it.

For wonderful non-buffet breakfast, Spoodles has an all-you-can-eat family style platter that includes their *fabulous* French toast, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, pastry, bacon and sausage.

In terms of the best food, my favorites are Fresh and Boma.

That sounds like a great idea :) We have done dinner at Crystal Palace which was very good as well :) Nothing like walking through an empty magic Kingdom!

Another great spot is the Ohana character breakfast. We tried it last year and our 2DS's loved it and we thought the food was great. It's brought to your table and they keep coming back with whatever you want. The fruit was fantastic!

the crystal palace is probably a good one.i have been there for dinner twice and it is okay.i would try it.

:cool1: i went to the crystal palace for dinner 2 times.it was great.good service.i went to chef mickeys 1 time for dinner.the service was terrible.the food was also cold.your best bet is probably Crystal palace. :cloud9: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Trail's End at FW has a great breakfast buffet, but it's the only one we've done at WDW so we're in no position to compare it with other choices. Getting to and from there without your own car can be time consuming but we ate there twice a few trips ago so apparently it was worth it to us.

We have never been to a character or buffet breakfast before. Our October trip we are going to Crystal Palace at 8:05 and I am excited about getting into the park so early. We are also going to Princess Breakfast in Epcot for my 2 nieces.

In Dec we are trying Boma and 1900 Park Fare....also Kona and Whispering Canyon....

CANNOT WAIT!!

Our #1 favorite, that we must do on every trip is 1900 Park Fare :thumbsup2 We love their breakfast (and dinner for that matter) Always fresh and just a wonderful breakfast.

Our 2nd favorite is Crystal Palace. We always get the first seating 8:05am and walk through a nearly empty Magic Kingdom and we are done just before the Magic Kingdom opens. It is a perfect way to start the day.

Another vote for Cape May. But when we do a CB we do on a off day so we go around 10, then miss the crowds trying to get to the parks.

We've done most of the breakfast buffets - Crystal Palace, CRT, Ohana, 1900 Park Fare, Cape May Buffet, and Princess Storybook Breakfast.

So far our favorites are Cape May Buffet, 1900 Park Fare and Crystal Palace.

We always do Chef Mickeys for dinner but we've never done their breakfast buffet. Donald's breakfast has gotten a lot of bad reviews so we passed on that. I do want to try the breakfast buffet at Boma, maybe next trip.

We have done CP, CM and Boma buffets. We were fortuanate enough to stay at AKL last trip, and ate at Boma's twice for breakfast. It's fabulous. Lots of great choices, and some unique items but also much of the standard fare but higher quality.
CP is also a favorite. Excellent selection and great service. We had an 8:05 ADR last time and walked into MK when it was very empty. We had a table overlooking the castle and it was magical. We have ADRs for 8:05 again on this trip. Hopefully we'll have the same luck.
CM is okay. Maybe it was just us, but it seemed like way too many of the choices were sugar laden. Don't get me wrong, I love sugary stuff as much or more than most people, but the choices at CM just were not as healthy as the other two. Most were just ok. Granted getting to eat with the big cheese made it worthwhile.
This trip, we're going to try CM for dinner, CP again for breakfast, and we'll be trying out 1900 PF for both breakfast and dinner.
Gotta love free dining!
