My parents and I haven't had a big sit down breakfast at Disney since I was 12 years old (8 years ago :P) We went to the Crystal Palace last time and loved it more for the atmosphere and the food than the character interaction. We're way out of the loop on which restuarants would be good. So I pose the question, which breakfast is best?

We Go To Chef Mickey's Every Year And Love It. The Atmosphere Is Great For The Kids And The Food Is Really Good Too. If You Like Character Interaction They Have All The Major Stars: Mickey, Minnie, Chip And Dale, Pluto, And Goofy. Good Luck On Your Choice.

I noticed we're the same age. :goodvibes

I love the Crystal Palace. The food is so yummy and the character interaction was great!

There's: Pooh and Piglet waffles, pancakes, pizza, bagels and cream cheese, strawberries w/ whip cream, melon, grapes, bananas, peanut butter, jellies, cheesy has browns, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, breakfast lasagna, made to order omelets, made to order pancakes (they'll even make Mickey pancakes for you!), walnut coffee cake, raspberry coffee cake, cereals, sausage, bacon. Everything is delicious!

The characters include: Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore.

I like to get a 8:05am, that way we'll be able to enter the MK before it's open to the public. :flower: Walking down an empty Main Street is so wonderful!

I voted Kona because they have terrific eggs benedict, and Tonga toast. We found the 1900 Park Fare breakfast superior to other buffets around the world. My problem with a breakfast buffet is that I don't really want to eat that much food at breakfast. It spoils my lunch ;)

I love the Kona Cafe. Great coffee, great food, and excellent service make the Kona Cafe worth the trip. :)

For a regular sit down breakfast, Olivia's is one of our favorites. The menu is pretty broad and its easy to eat a healthy, but really good breakfast (e.g., vegetarian egg white omelet) there, as well as more traditionally prepared breakfast items.

It was a tough choice. I voted for CP but Boma's is excellent too!!! I think the puffed french toast at CP swayed me. I would be happy having nothing but OJ and puffed french toast there. I like it better than the french toast they make with rasin bread at Boma's... but... then there is the Frunch juice concoction at Boma's too that is very yummy..... anyway... this is why we always go to both Boma's and CP each trip. :)

While I voted for CP, I'd say don't over look Chef Mickey's for a character breakfast. For a regular breakfast - and a big, good one, I'd recommend Olivia's at OKW! :)

All are good choices.

Character breakfast's can be busy, sometimes loud.

Places like Kona and Spoodles have good breakfast's with a more relaxed atmosphere.

We loved 1900 Park Fair on our last trip. The food was excellent. The Strawberry Soup was very good and Alice and the Mad Hatter were lots of fun. We liked exploring the Grand Floridian too!

Another vote for Kona's. I love their Kona coffee press pot and the Tonga toast is my favorite breakfast anywhere!

I swear my parents used to go to Disney just for the tonga toast. And the entire plane trip it's all my brother would talk about. I myself could never eat a whole one so I would always jsut pick off other peoples plates, but YUM! Kona cafe all the way!

There's other things to eat for breakfast besides Tonga Toast???
:earsgirl:
61 days until the big family trip! :grouphug:

The character breakfast at the Cape May Cafe (Beach Club) was a lot of fun. The characters are in their beach attire. The food selection was great too!!!

Voted for Kona Cafe

If you want a sit down table service b'fast, Kona is hard to beat.

I'd go for Crystal Palace if you're looking to do a character b'fast.
