My husband and I have never done breakfast at Disney before we usually just eat in our room before we leave. We have decided to do a couple breakfasts this time around. Any suggestions?

You have come to the right place. For character breakfasts, do Chef Mickeys, Ohana's, or Crystal Palace. Even 1900 Park Fare is nice. For non-character breakfasts, try Whispering Canyon Cafe or Kona Cafe.

The last few trips (on DDP) we have a new tradition of eating breakfast at TS. Usually we just eat in our room the rest of the time. We've enjoyed both Park Fare and 'Ohana for breakfast. We get late ADRS, since it's our last day, and are able to take our time eating and visiting with the characters.

Some of the same stuff i was gonna say! Crystal Palace has some excellent food (i love the puffy french toast!) and Chef Mickey's is awesome too! Ive Never eaten at Ohanas or 1900 park fare, but i have only heard good things about those. I also enjoy the Donald Buffet in AK, i believe it has been moved to the tusker house, but im not sure.

Chef Mickey's is always a good one, but we also love Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. The characters are dressed in beach clothes and the atmosphere of the Beach Club is nice :goodvibes. A Cape May breakfast is a must do for us every year :). Another suggestion is Ohana's at the Poly......everything there is delicious, but the juice is especially AWESOME ;).

Man everything sounds really good....Maybe we will have to do more than a couple...:)

In my opinion Chef Mickey's for a buffet and Kona Cafe for Tonga Toast:thumbsup2

Boatwights at Port Orleans - Riverside - we go there at least once or twice a trip for the sweet potato pancakes. IMO best breakfast @ WDW.

WCC, Kona & Ohanas also are good. Never liked Crystal Palace.

Hubby and I love breakfast. We usually end up at Gullivers in the Swan resort. The food is very very good, hot and fresh and the service is great also. It is buffet style. Characters are there only on the weekend.

We used to eat at Kona Cafe in Poly quite a bit, but they took our favorite breakfast off the menu so we haven't been back. Guess I should check to see if they put it back on.

Chef Mickey's is not the place to go if you are looking for good food, the food there is disgusting. It was good many years ago, but our recent experience was terrible food/taste/quality wise.

Fresh at the Dolphin is usually very good, however the last time we went there, I picked up my plate and it was "glued" to the one below it with a huge yellow mass of pudding or something. Grossed me out, could barely eat..haven't been back.

We also love Crystal Palace.

The two best non-character breakfasts we have been to are Boatwrights(sweet potato pancakes!!)and the Kona Cafe(Tonga Toast!!).

Our favorite character breakfast is definitely the Crystal Palace.

Boma is the most amazing breakfast! We love it and make sure to go one every single trip...3 more weeks and I can taste the biscuit casserole!

Kona and Cape May are another few that are out of this world.

If you want to see pictures of all three click on my April trip report

One of our favorite breakfast options at WDW is the QS places. If you are at a resort with a food court - they usually have some great options: CSR is GREAT! Even ASMu has custom omlettes. Most have Mickey waffles. Pop has Pop Century waffles!

It's also kind of fun to see all the offerings. mostly though we like to not waste time in the am, and with DDP breakfast is not a good option for using credits.

As far as TS, your home resort is good option for timing. Otherwise, we tend to do TS breakfasts on our last day.

As far as TS we've tried for breakfast: Chef Mickey's, Boatwrights, CP, Garden Grove, WCC. All were good except Boatwrights. I paid like five dollars for four strawberries and fake whipped cream.

Thanks for all the great suggestions...Although everything sounds good and I think I am more confused than when I started...So many great choices so little time...:confused3
