This will be my first trip to Disneyworld and picked up the DDP for 8 days, I was curious what some of the members favorite breakfast spots are and why. Character or non character breakfasts are all ok.

Thanks in advance!

I like Kona over at the Poly. Banana stuffed Tonga toast and fresh pressed Kona coffee are my favorites.

Ohana! We are leaving in a few weeks and I asked my son (13) about skipping the breakfast there this year. He gave me a definite "NO!". This is the one place he does not want to give up.:hippie:

DW loves Boatwright's.
I love Kona's.

Also heard great things about Boma's breakfast.

Well so far for sure I know we have CRT, ohana and boma booked for breakfast, anything special about crystal palace or chef mickeys?

LOL, I just posted a question just like this one. LOL! Great minds think alike I guess. :lmao:

From my only experience last August, I can say that the Ohana's best friends breakfast at the Poly is pretty cool! And we also did the Akershus Princess Breakfast b/c our daughter is obsessed! OH, and we did the Kona Cafe the last day we were there...how could I forget that? The Tonga toast is yummy!

Boma is a must-do! Also like Cape May Cafe at BC (character meal) other than that, we don't do many breakfasts. Kona is good, love Tonga Toast (DH makes it for me at home every year for my bday  ) We do love to grab cinnamon rolls & french toast loaf at Main Street Bakery :thumbsup2 or yummies from the Boardwalk Bakery :goodvibes

I may have to add the Kona Cafe on the list as well, that toast sounds pretty good :thumbsup2

Well, my family and I usually just end up eating breakfast at our resort because we don't like getting up early and traveling out to the parks or other hotels before eating.

However, we did eat one time at Donald's Breakfastosaurus at Animal Kingdom... The food was delicious, and served buffet style... However, I highly recommend a reservation, especially if you're traveling at one of the busiest times like July or August.

We love the food at Crystal Palace, but will be trying Donald's Breakfastosaurus during our next trip. Thanks for the good review Stitch, we were wondering if the food was any good.

We just did bfast at Cape May and it was WONDERFUL! Minnie, Goofy, and Donald. Chip and Dale were supposed to be there instead of Donald, so that was a slight disappointment, BUT...each of the characters camearound TWICE...once when we first sat down (PERFECT timing cuz no one had left for the buffet yet),and then again as we were all finishing up (again,PERFECT timing!). While we were there, DD5 had drawn a picture of Minnie on the paper tablecloth, and when Minnie camearound the second time, she signed the tablecloth next to the picture so DD could take it home. The characters were great and we never feltrushed to let them go so they could see the nexxt table...we were there on a Thursday and it wasn't crowded at all. The food was pretty good too...I made myself a tasty bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sammy. :)

That's the only bfast we did and we did it on our off day, so as not to miss rope-drop at a park! :)

We ate breakfast @ CP & TH in Oct. We all prefered TH by far. In our opinion, the food & atmosphere were both better @ TH.

The character lineup changed in 2008. Donald "replaced" Chip & Dale :sad2: I wish they could have just "added" Donald instead because Chip & Dale were a lot of fun! :goodvibes
