We are trying to pick a breakfast on a non-park day - staying at BWV. What is the BEST? Spoodles? Cape May Cafe?
We are also doing Chef Mickey so we will have seen the characters so I'm asking about the food. Of course if Cape May food is great, I'm sure we could suffer through Chip and Dale again. LOL

Oh this is such a difficult one to answer.

I love Cape May Cafe - the food here is I believe the best breakfast buffet on site. The characters are great, we love Chip'n'Dale too. But the breakfast food always seems fresh and hot and the displays just make you want more of it.

Now I also like Spoodles but it's different - a la carte style. They have a great Italian breakfast which is a little weird but I thought what the hey and I loved it. It's ahrd to choose though from the menu.

I don't think you can go wrong with either ;)

Ok if you in a hurry then obviously spoodles... But I would make time for Cape May!!!

My personal favorite is Spoodles. They have a mediterranean family style sampler breakfast (they bring you the food but it all you care to eat) that is quite good. Plus, they have conventional a la carte items, too. This place never seems to be too busy, either.

:)

Well, if you want a regular breakfast without characters, the Galley at the Yacht Club is great. You can have the buffet or order off the menu.

Spoodles, hands down in the best breakfast in the BW area.

Hot and fresh, good service. Very relaxing.

And, for the big eaters in your party, that like the all you can eat approach, there is an all you can eat platter...quite delicious...hubby's favorite.

Enjoy!

if you're doing a non-park day & probably don't even want to see characters, the Yacht Club Galley at the YC is WONDERFUL!! The breakfast buffet is a STEAL price-wise compared to the buffets in the parks. Enjoy!! :D

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YC RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Service!!
Really We sometimes do that on a non-park day it makes us slow down & relax in the morning. If you have a patio or a balcony you sit out there.:D

I'm with JESW and Mimi70'--Yacht Club Galley is a nice spot. Having a choice between a buffet and table service is a plus.

:earsboy: I hadn't thought about the Yacht Club galley. That might be worth looking into. It was closed last July as part of the cutbacks, but has since re-opened.

Frankly, however, I would go to Cape May Cafe anytime. The food is great and you really don't need lunch after loading up at Cape May. And hey, how can you pass-up seeing Minnie Mouse in a bathing suit? She's got great legs. :jester: :p

The breakfast menu at Spoodles looks really interesting! Thanks for another great idea :p One question... do I need a PS to have breakfast there?

Still haven't decided for sure but they all sound good. Just decided to my mom with us so I want to get her opinion as well. Just looking at all the choices, we should eat breakfast everyday to try each one. LOL:p

We had breakfast at Spoodles in Dec. and really loved it. We had eaten here many times for dinner but it was our first time for breakfast. The food was really good, and the service was excellent. My cousin had the sampler plate and it must of weighed 10lbs, you get a little of just about everything on the menu. You will not go wrong eating here for breakfast or dinner.

Has anyone gone to Tubbi's at the Swan for breakfast?? I'd like to get 2 eggs & bacon in the BC/BW area without paying $6 - $7 at Yacht Club Galley....

Yes, I KNOW we're talking about Disney World, but a girl's gotta try to save a buck somewhere..... :D
