Best Breakfast Buffet?

Hi!!:thumbsup2

Offsite - everyone raves about Golden Corral - but we have yet to get there - so can't comment myself!!:confused3 ;)

Onsite - we really liked the Tusker House character breakfast and the Crystal Palace was a close second (french toast - yummy!!:goodvibes )

For characters the one at Chef Mickeys in the contemporary is very good. I always liked the one in Yacht & Beach club though because it was easier to get a reservation. Both the same kind of food for breakfast really.

We love CP at the MK - especially if you get an early ADR & walk down a virtually empty Main Street :)

Crystal Palace especially if you get reservations for before the park opens, the character interaction there was amazing. I also liked 1900 Park Fare but not been to that one recently. I also had a magical time in Chef Mickeys but that was the dinner and not breakfast meal.

if you're talking about character buffets, we love the crystal palace...

2nd favorite is chef mickey's

3rd favorite is the cape may cafe at the beach club resort

If you mean off Disney, we've tried most of them, but Golden Corral is best we reckon and you can get omelettes made up and you can get toast. - YOu can't (or couldn't last time we went) at Ponderosa/sizzler.

Chef Mickey if you want characters. Both the Kitchen(HRH) and the Islands (RPR) do excellent buffet breakfasts if you are at Universal.

Offsite-another vote for Golden Corral

The character breakfasts are great. Our favourites which we always do are

1. Cape May Cafe - Beach Club
2. Crystal Palace - Magic Kingdom

Never stayed onsite yet (but not long to go!), so can't comment.

Offsite, I liked Friendly's, but I would avoid Ponderosa though. (cheap, but with good reason)

Cheers,:thumbsup2

We went to a few onsite and the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club was the best. The kids LOVED the food and so did my hubby myself and very fussy Grandad!!!

Hi
I agree Cape May Cafe is the easiest to get breakfast in, and the servers tend to be so sweet (older) ladies that really look after you! , I love the bright colour scheme and the relaxed atmosphere. Its also a really good way to start the morning if you are going to either Epcot or the studios, as you can get the boat straight over afterwards
I have found food wise, its changed over the years, but we got a walk-in at Crystal Palace when we did an early magic kingdom day and I have to say, its gets my vote for No.1 breakfast currently.
It was a whole other class food wise, they had Pooh's breakfast lasagne, which was beautiful, mickey waffles, pancakes, fresh french toast with cinammon sugar :thumbsup2 plus a fresh omlette and egg station in the middle, not to mention all the regular stuff. they also has the krispy kreme holes, which my boys love!
Have a great holiday!! :yay:

Golden corral or ponderossa for us off site. Winnie the poohs breakfast a magic kingdom at disney:thumbsup2
