Best Boarding Time?

Just curious what would be the best time to be at the terminal so you have minimal line wait? I see folks get there at 10:30 but have to wait in line for an hour to two hours.

Does the wait drop off when the initial line (10:30 or early arrivals) embarks?

How long does it normally take to get onboard once the doors open to the ship?

Thanks
Stacey

If you don't want to get the terminal early to wait in line for 1 1/2 hours ( which goes by quick), plan to arrive about 1:00 to 1:30pm. By then, the early birds are onboard having lunch.:drinking1 and you will able to walk onboard after checking in.

The bus picked us up at the Beach Club at 11:45 AM we arrived at the port at 1:00 PM and walked right on the ship...no wait. They sent us up to the buffet and told us our room would be ready at 1:30. After lunch we arrived at our room and found our luggage waiting for us. It was great!!!

The only reason I like to get there early is to take care of ressies for the Spa and Palos and get the kids registered. Dont forget that embarktion day is a day of your vacation, dont waste it! :-)
