Best Beer

:drinking1 Guinness!...but that is the best anywhere!!!

As a Canadian, I probably should root for one of our fine brews, but Dos Equis (Mexico) is my second favourite beer in the world. (My first favourite is Safari Amber, but that's only available at AK and AKL).

Just my opinion - but I think the World Showcase is sorely lacking in any sort of decent beer selections. WDW as a whole is pretty pathetic when considering the beer selection. They tend to offer 'big name' mass produced brews over some of the truley great world beers which is a big miss for the World Showcase

With that being said, Germany tends to have Fraziskaner and Spaten available which are good. As Mortlives mentioned, Safari is pretty good as well, but not available in Epcot.

I'm not much of a Stout fan, so I've never found Guiness appealing ... although I do love Sammy Smith Oatmeal Stout. Why the UK in Epcot doesn't have a better selection, I'll never understand :confused3

I am a Guinness lover also. Although it is extremely hard to find it served at the right temp. Everyone always serves it cold. I believe they had Sierra Nevada and Anchor Steam which are two of my favs. :drinking1

It USED to be Tennant's at the Rose & Crown and Ringnes at Norway. Both are gone now. I favor Stella Artios at the R&C and Labatt's at Canada. I'll have a Guiness a few times per trip and be sure to try Bodddington's, both at the R&C, and if you're in the BoardWalk area, stop in the BelleVue Lounge and have a Groelsch.

Stella is a favorite of mine, but Brocktoon is right, with all the beer choices out there the Epcot choices are rather mundane.

My all time fave was Ringnes at Norway, but it is no longer there. I wish they would bring it back!!!!! Now, I would have to say Dos Equis at Mexico or Harp at UK.

BRING BACK THE RINGNES!!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc

Stella Artois at the Rose and Crown. They may have it at Raglan Road too, but that wasn't open yet the last time we went. I intend to find out in December!

DH is highly partial to Stella. He is also a fan of the samplers at both R&C and Big River on the Boardwalk.

I have to agree with those who say the beer selection is limited. I was disappointed on our May trip when I found out there was no more Rignes!!

I do like the beers at Big River on the Boardwalk. Not the best I ever had, but very good!

I am a big fan of the Lowenbrau Oktoberfest brew available during the F&W fest. I don't think it is available anywhere else in the country. But I could be wrong. If you can't get the Oktoberfest the regular Lowenbrau is great.

If you like Stella Artois, the worst Belgium beer, you will love the other Belgium beers (there hunderds of them)... but they don't sell them at EPCOT

PS. I am no beer drinker myself... (I like champagne :teeth: )

Stella at Rose & Crown
had a few refills in my 1/2 yard while going back n forth btwn Off Kilter sets last week

my next favorite was fiesta margaritas (yes I know its not beer) while on the Mexico boat ride - good way to cool off
