I've heard of Cocoa Beach. Any others within a 1 hour drive? Which ones do you consider best for families/most relaxing?

We've done both Cocoa and Daytona. Great times at both, but Daytona was our preference.

Cocoa was quieter, Daytona was more commercial (amusements/restaurants/shops on the beach).

Cocoa has the most amazing Ron Jons Surf Shop.

Multiple tolls en route to Cocoa, none to Daytona. Similar travel time to each.

We LOVE Jetty Park at port canaveral. It is a very nice and clean beach, never over crowded. And as a bonus you can watch the cruise ships leave. As a local Ive been to cocoa once and Daytona once, that was enough for me. It is $15 at jetty for a car to get in and park for the day, very nice snack bar and bathrooms too.

The pictures are great!

Can you recommend some resorts with kitchen in Daytona Beach? We (2AD and 2DD aged 8 and 10) would like to stay there for about 10 days before going to Disney.
