So what's going on in Slidell? Has it recuperated from Katrina. I used to deal with some drug stores there and right now I can't remember the names tho I should afterall I had to call the owner, a lady named Diane weekly to see what kind of progress they were making getting her store opened again. I was curious if they were up and running but now can't recall the name of the store, lol.

Hmm...It is mostly recuperated. There is a lot of new construction going on and "improvements" going on. I miss the old slidell. Seems like everytime I turn around they are clearing another lot and building something new and I miss the trees and country feel. I live in a wooded subdivision with a bayou in my backyard. Personally, we are still in renovations. Our flooring is mostly remnant carpet my husband got for free, there is no paint on the walls, and our kitchen sink is our only sink in the house but this was our choice. We made some much needed improvements to our home (it was built in1972 and the people we bought it from wrecked it) such as a water filtration system, all new duct work and air conditioning system and spray in foam insulation. So we are making the superficial renovations slowly over time. Slidell is still a great place to live, but a lot busier.

Old school hottie ... Sorry DisneyDad :lmao:

Did you get much damage from Katrina? I know you are fixing up anyway since the last people who had it ruined it. I've been to Slidell once or twice but not enough to remember what it was like.

oh wow I'm done?! I'm done! :woohoo: (but only for today and then I'll be doing this all over again tomorrow...unless all you people can just GO to disney and we'll have a little quiet time :rotfl2: )

At least when I come back, DD will be in Disney, so I'll have a week to catch up on his thread before he comes back.

:lmao: we'll both probably need the week to catch up once we get back from WDW!! I'll be in the same boat as you. Maybe we'll have the thread all to ourselves. yeah...rrriiiggghhhttt.

And, don't you just love that farside calendar? It makes me laugh every day!

Thank You...& DisneyMom took over the Passporter Last Night...I have it beside me Now....& I am loving it ...I will let DisneyMom write in it also & we will come up with a bunch of ways to use it...I am most looking fwd to the 10 day pouches in the Back....so I can remember when I get back what to Write about!!!

:rotfl:

Hey, at least you gave her a chance to at least look at it before you took it over for good to keep everything straight on your trip :thumbsup2
it is a great guide...in addition to the UG. They both have a lot of the same stuff in there such as tips and things but they have a few different things as well which is really cool. I too can't way to use the last 10 pages with pockets and places to write all the details down so I can work on my TR in great detail when I get back. :yay: :yay: I now have to purchase a backpack so I can lug it around the parks with me.

Hmmmm...what to post...what to post..

that is one...:rotfl2:
