Okay, you asked for the story about Allison, here's the story, LOL!
We lived on the corner of a main street and a dead end street. It was just a middle class neighborhood, no one made a lot of money but everyone was comfortable in their lifestyle and everyone was nice, decent and down to earth. We knew all our neighbors and everyone was friends, we partied together, took day trips together and had the greatest street! We loved it.
At the end of the dead end street there were some crappy, cheap rentals. This old man owned a lot of property back there and he was a weird old guy that no one liked and everyone tried to avoid. Some of his renters were, shall we say, not quite up to the standars of the rest of the neighbors, they were kind of trashy and unsavory. One family moved in one day with some kids who were always barefoot and a little dirty looking and the kids kept coming down our end of the street as we had a yard full of great outside toys for the kids. We felt kind of sorry for the kids, it was obvious they didn't really have anything so we let them come play in our yard with our kids.
One of the kids was a little skinny redheaded girl who seemed kind of shy. She would just open the gate and just walk in and start playing. She was about Sharkey's age at the time, not much more than 3 or 4. (Yes Sharkey was a child at one point in her life tho it's hard to picture now, lol.) Anyway, this little girl was the infamous Allison!!!! Sharkey wasn't overly fond of her but we made her play nice and share as this child didn't seem to have much and she was okay with it. She was a good little girl and so she did what we asked, played nice with this girl and shared her toys.
Now and then we would find a broken toy in the yard and wonder how it had gotten broken and who had broken it but no one ever seemed to know. Sharkey and DS never knew.
Sharkey had a little brightly colored shopping cart with little plastic groceries in it and it was her favorite toy. She just loved this cart. She would take it shopping with me and fill it with her "groceries" and walk it through the store while I got groceries. She just adored this toy. At home in the yard she would push her cart around all over, stop at the steps to pick up a "grocery article" and then over to the swing set to pick up another and then to the picnic table to pick up another, etc. She'd do that all day until she filled her cart with all her groceries. Well apparently poor little Allison had a nasty little jealous streak in her. She saw the shopping cart was the coveted toy and she resented that Sharkey had one and she didn't. So one day, she just intentionally broke Sharkey's shopping cart. Sharkey went ballistic on her, lol, chased her away and told her not to come back and she never did, LOL.
To this day (as you can see) you can't mention the name Allison or the words little yellow shopping cart to Sharkey!!!! One day when she's on the Psychiatrists couch and they finally figure out what pushed her over the edge, she'll be carried away muttering "Allison broke my little yellow shopping cart!"
Hey Sharkey, it's not quite the same but it sort of gives you a fond memory of the old days!!!

Ok Now That's Funny Right There.....I can only Imagine...But Knowing Sharky the Way I do....I would Say...Is This How She Got Her NickName?????
I have nothing like that from My childhood...the Only thing that Comes close is when I shot My Girlfriend...With a BB Gun...when I was about 10....& I am still Mad about that>>>Cause My Dad....Still won't give me back the BB Gun

it was nice.. Weldon's so excited to get his boat out in fresh water.. he's only been out in salt water! he cracks me up.. last time I saw him he hadnt been out in weeks and I was commenting on how sad he must be and he said "if I dont get out soon im gunna just sit in it with the hose running under it.."

Hey DD and all who have been crossing stuff for me!!!!
I applied for 3 jobs on Friday online.
Well, one called me back today about 5pm, but my cell was on vibrate, so I never heard it.
She said they are very interersted in meeting with me and asked me to call them back to set up an interview for next week.
Then, about a nhr later, another one called and left a voice mail
I called back and she conducted a phone interview with me.
Took about 10 mins..hate those things...
Then, she said she would talk to HR tomorrow...about hrs...I told her the earliest I could do would be 8:30, prefer 9am if possible.
I have to get my son up in the morning, dressed, off at the babysitters, where sometimes he gers upset when time to leave and then to the place...so 8 am would be too hard.
She going to see how flexible they are with hours and give me a call back tomorrow morning and le tme know either way.
So, please keep crossing everything everyone as it is working so far

I started my Christmas shopping today.
I didn't go out with those intentions, but when I got to walmart and saw all of these new Mickey mouse Clubhouse toys out there, and I knew it would be hard to get them in a couple of months, I acted now and bought 3 things.
I got a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse stuffed Mickey drssed in school clothes and teaches the kids how to do the dance they do at the end of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, plus it plays 3 songs..DS LOVES those songs and whenever it is on tv, stops what he is doing and dances right along.
Plus, two figure sets for the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse that he got last Christmas.
Jolly Old St. Nicholas lean your ear this way, don't you tell a single soul, what I'm goin to say.....Christmas Eve is coming soon, now you dear old man, whisper what you'll bring to me, tell me if you can!!!!!
