Well seems photobucket has snatched over half of my pictures. I can't find the rest! Now I have to do this all over again, GRRRRRR I'm so mad. But at least you got to see a few pics so you know I really did go somewhere, I wasn't just hiding and avoiding y'all!!!!

27 pages!! Wow, I'd just start over @ that point. I have a hard enough time keeping up when I miss a day or two.

Well Thursday we left our home in Louisiana and headed northeast towards Tunica, MS and eventually Memphis, TN. Tunica is where all the casinos are and yes we like to gamble, lol. We had a good ride, the weather, though hot was nice to travel in as we were in the air conditioned truck. That does help a whole lot!

Anyway it took us about 6 hours after having stopped at McD's for a late lunch to hold us over. Talk about slow. I think those people working there had two speeds, Slow and Stop and they were really close to Stop when we were there. I never waited so long for "Fast Food" it gives a whole new meaning to those words for sure. We finally got our food and got back on the road.

We finally got to our hotel. It was the Grand Casino Hotels and Casino and we stayed in the Veranda Building. It was gorgeous. It had a big pool, a gorgeous lobby with pool tables and a big bar and three TVs in it as well. We were on the 6th floor, the top floor but no it wasn't the Penthouse.

We checked in and took our bags to our room. YOu might think we were moving there permanently with all the bags we had and then all the extras slung over our shoulders and arms; laptop, camera bag, bag of shoes, my pillow (have to have my own pillow) and so much more crap, lol.

We got to our room and it was small but gorgeous!

Have not heard back from the other one yet..one with questionable hrs...She told me to call back at the end of day if I don't hear anything.

DD Yes it's hot! i never thought I'd really say that. I'm cold natured and I've always said i'm glad to be in Tx. But Yesterday it was 105 w/ a heat index of 111. The humidity down here is worse than Fl. So I'll be glad to be in Fl.!!!!!
My Bro is off on a 2 wk vacation and I'm taking care of his 17 animals! Yes you heard me right 17!!!!!! Try taking care of them in this weather and still smelling good when you leave!

I will let you stretch a bit....But please resumeing stretching on Tuesday at 11am, as that is whem my interview is..

I hope the interview goes awesome and then you won't have to even persue the one with questionable hours. Work hours is just as important as how much pay they are willing to give you. I hate odd shifts. My DH is on night shift and it sucks. But, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Awesome pictures ! I've been wanting to go to Tunica myself for a while. I used to work in the business and my DH still does.

McDonald's drive thru is the worst. Seems like no matter where I am, if I get in the drive thru at Mc Donald's it is always S-L-O-W.
