I am so sure that even though he did not have receipts for those days.........there was alcohol consumed those days!!!!!!!!!!! It might have been from the stash in the room.......someone else might have bought him a drink.........but there was certainly alcohol consumed!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Patrick, I am worried and scared and not being able to go up to Philadelphia to be with him is very hard on me. I have one of his good friends going with him to the hospital and he'll report to me how it is going and give me his room number and phone number so I can call and send cards at least!!!!

Thanks for the good vibes and group hug I need them and mostly he needs them!!!!

Praying really hard for him today!!!!!!! And for you since you can't be with him....that has to be really hard on you as a mom not to be with him!!!!!!!!!!

When I lost My Update.....

I was logged on!!!!

But I went over to where DisneyMom was still logged in...& Posted about how I had Lost My Update!!!...& then I realized after I had Posted that it was on DisneyMom...So I edited it...& it will not allow you to leave it Blank.....so I typed a 1

See it was simple!!

Well that sure explains everything except when I was logged on from...........logs you off at will.......leaves you logged on on a whim.......

I still don't have a new battery for my camera........although someone tried to give me a camera at the BD party yesterday.........the mom of the BD girl set her camera down.......someone else was convinced it was mine! Anywho....no new pics of Patches..........

WOW...almost 500 dollars in alcohol.

That is about how much we brough for spending money in May and came home wiht about 120 dollars....


Did those bottle of wines make it back home to Ga with you or did your finish them off when you were there??

Oh they were long gone before we left the restaurants........but we brought the bottles home as souvenirs!!!!!!!!!

hey gang! I was just on a quilting web site and they have a section on there called "Family Dirt" with funny stories and such and I found this one to be hillarious!

I mistakenly thought I would change brands of cat food...to entice the old guy to eat better. What I got was kitties with upset tummies. I then mistakenly changed back, rather abruptly I might add. So I have been dealing with nasty kitty box the last few days. Now, I buy kitty litter in big 20 lb square buckets with reusable lids. Wash them out and use them for everything. Neighbors beg for them, they are wonderful buckets! So I think...since I am "scooping" every couple of hours until the tummy upset is over...I will just dump (no pun intended) it into an empty bucket. I take a big green marker and write POOP on the lid and place it next to the litter box. Pretty self explanatory don't you think? Well there I am reading my email when Johnny comes in and sits on the bed...
"Mom, what's in the bucket that says POOP?" "Poop"
"No Mom, what's really in the bucket that says POOP?" "Poop"
" No Mom...really what's in it?" "Poop"
"Mooooommmm! What is in the bucket that says POOP?" "Poop"
"Mom. I am serious here. WHAT is in the bucket that says POOP?" now I had had about enough of the 13 year old attitude so I answer..."Candy, for Halloween"
He jumps off the bed grinning and heads down the hall. "Stevie! I know where Mom hid the Halloween candy!" Then I can hear the two of them out in the sewing room.
Johnny - "Open it Stevie"
Stevie - " But it says...POOP!"
Johnny - "Come on Mom's just trying to trick us...open it."
Stevie - "No way man...you open it...it say's Poop" a pause...then yelling
"EWWEE...GROSS...HEAVEN HELP ME"
"URK...GASP...CHOKE"
"SHUT the LID! "I can't! I'm gonna SPEW"
"MOM!!! THAT WAS MEAN!

Well, i had to leave ds with dh today who was sleeping since he workded last night.

Since my ds is a nightowl, he doesn't rise before noon....

So, I went in early, to be home by 11:30. I got home and they were both sound asleep still

So, here I am...to play

No, he is not scheduled to check in until 1-2pm at the hospital. So, probably wont know a thing until early evening.

No the DIS gods turned it off while I was posting and it wouldn't come back on!

Do you know how much wine is in one of those bottles? (About 4 glasses max) Do you have any idea how much DDad can put away?!?!?! (Ok so maybe I had most of the second bottle, but it was a tiny bottle of dessert wine!)

Fun, but crazy non-the-less. Maybe once we start the dis quilts we can start a thread about those and then get others involved in it. I want to find other DIS quilters.
