Hi to all and so sorry for all of you out there w/ the bad Dr stories!! There's some quacks out there all right and then there are some very good ones . I've got to ssay DS5 has some of the BESt in the world!! Especially those he uses at Texas Childrens Hospital!!!!
But....back to those stories of the Diagnosis and then NO it's this and Oh it was that caused by this Looks like the boys didn't have strep. Yep the boys. I had to pick up DS7 from school Tues right after we got back from the DR w/ DS5. After looking at DS7 and saying well the strep test came back neg but we will send if off for culture, since we're pretty sure B has got strep I'm sure that's what T has also. Then I say Doc would you mind looking at B also. He's come down w/ a rash and it doesn't look like strep rash. She looks at him and then in his mouth again. She then calls the nurse over and they both say Looks like hand foot and mouth. Sooooo both boys home from school all week and I'm about to go CRA-ZY. I wanted EVERYTHING clean by to day. I was origanally planning a garage sale for this w/end and then packing everything up next week. Now the house is more of a wreck than before. And Nope No Way for the garage sale (I was hoping to use it to buy some of those needful things for WDW since we won't get our expense check till the night before or the day of our trip !!)
Oh Well on the bright side, Mon I bought 2 diff pack of iron ons with patches. One set is Mickey and the other is CARS. They were half off! Then DH found 1 and only 1 Mickey patch at Hobby Lobby today on clearance!!
We cross our calender off each night and put up stickers so we've already crossedit off.......We've got 10 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh gosh LeeLee! Belle has had Hand, Foot and Mouth twice. It is one of those things thta you are only supposed to get once but lucky her, she got it twice. Second time was way worse then the first too. Make sure you have lots of Tylenol or Advil on hand - the fevers can be really bad. And soft food that is not acidic to eat. Their little mouths get so sore. Belle was only eating yogurt.

Hope they are on the mend quickly for you LeeLee!

yeah...20 minutes here, 30 minutes there...ugh!

I will. I gotta wait until I get back to work so I can afford one again. I only have like $1000 invested in my body art, so I'm not going overboard...yet I don't think. No - no train track. Already got the tracks, just need the choo choo. I'm getting a vine on my foot. I want something that wraps around my ankle, goes down the middle of my foot, and then around the middle toe. But I don't exactly have the prettiest feet in the world, so I'm not sure I'd show it off much.

I'm jumping in on the tat convo... I think, in general, anywhere you don't have a lot of meat it's kinda painful.

When I got my first one everyone said watch out, it's addictive! But I think that it becomes addictive after you get the second one! I know lots of peeps that just have one but none that just have two! It's like one or several!

A tat on your forehead - now that would be really hard core!!! Do you watch Miami Ink? And have you seen Kat's new show? She's got one on her forehead!

It is addictive. I love it!!

What does Kat have on her forehead? I know she has stars or something around her eyes, but I didn't know about her forehead.

Sorry you are so busy--we are going tomorrow for the day...we used to go and stay 2 or 3 days at the Evergreen in the park...but with Disney so close we are just going for the day.

The pouty faces are because we were about to leave and Drew and the girls had friends there that they only get to see once a year!

I don't mind you asking at all. I've never really gone into detail because its not an "everyday" thing that bunches of people know about. Basically I have this disease that causes my brain to produce too much cerebrospinal fluid. There's nowhere for it to go, so it just stays where it is and causes bone crushing headaches, nausea, hemorrhaging (sp?) of the optic nerves, and all kinds of other fun stuff. If I don't treat it somehow I pretty much can't do anything because I'm in too much pain all the time and I'll go blind. So I had a tube attached to my spinal cord that is *supposed* to drain the fluid and empty it into my stomach. It's not working, I'm in constant pain, can't see all that great because I have big blind spots, and I get a lot (if you know what I mean). The headaches, I'm afraid, are what's gonna keep me from doing/seeing everything I want to at WDW. Sometimes I just gotta sit and take a break to stop the nausea. I plan on pushing myself though.

The whole shaving the hair thing really freaks me out! I refuse to look like Boy George!

Let's see, your excuse can be...your husband didn't get on any thrill rides with you so he owes you one!
