I did get a temp position, I don't know for how long but am at the Red Cross as an Exec Assistant and Event Planner. Had to jump in the middle of an event that was 3/4's planned as the one person quit and the other is out sick so it's crazy trying to figure it all out! It's fun though, where else do they pay you to get on the internet, go shopping, plan a party, etc? But now that I have a temp position I keep getting phone calls for interviews. I've been going but I don't feel right as they hired me to help them not to go on interviews though they have no problem with it if I go first thing in morning or late afternoon , just not mid day.


I had already spoken to you many times over the course of the trip, so I didn't think to say HI....

Be careful of dogs that chew cords....we have some friends who went on vacation at Christmas last year....their dog had chewed a lamp cord.... the cord was also pulled tight........their house burned down and the cord was what the fire dept said started it....

Oh my! I always worried about that with our dog when we first got him but he doesn't chew things now, not even his toys, he's so careful, he plays and plays but never chews through one!

Ooooo....someone has been thinking a lot about this......and thinking like Evil DDad...........

Good to see you........haven't talked much since we got back from The World......still doing laundry......
My day was crazy....Leesee started piano lessons when we got back from our trip, so we had to buy a keyboard for her to practice so we didn't have to go to my parents house every time she needs to practice! We are trying to get Anna back into Karate.......Catching Drew up on Scouts.......
Hard to put up a new ticker...it means the trip is really over...and it would be hard to surprise certain individuals



We had so much fun meeting you on the trip......I am all for a field trip to your house!!!!!!! Seriously--if we can get the money together, we are there! It would be Social Studies of course! We could learn about all kinds of things, even better than when we went to the Canadian pavilion at Epcot!

that stinks!! Thanks for the tip! We now are trying to clear our house of electric cords from the floor. It's tough. Plus the dog has been shown that it's a no no to chew things that aren't her toys a few times since then. she's been misbehaving a lot lately

There is a product called "Bitter Apple" at PetsMart that you can buy. You just spray it on everything and it makes it taste bitter. I used it for my dog when she was a puppy and it worked great. She never wanted to try my chair rungs again. Don't buy the off brand at Walmart. My son could spray it on his tong and not even taste it.

thanks. We used that stuff with our other two dogs when they were puppies and it never worked. But maybe it will work with this one since she is a smaller breed

You would have loved it. The whole city of Canton, Mississippi was a giant craft fair. I bought a ton of stuff including my new bathroom sink !!
