Best and Worst Value for TS credits (a math exercise)

Hey all, I spent some time going through the menus on wdwinfo and thought that I would look at what meals gave you best value for your TS credit. First, a couple of notes:
- I am a math geek, so this is math exercise. This does not account for the quality of food or service that you may get at any of these restaurants.
- Value is determine by taking the average cost of an adult entree and add it to the average cost of a adult dessert. This is then divided by the number of table service credits needed for a particular location.
- The only restaurant not taken into consideration that is on the DDP is Tokyo Dining because I am not sure what would be considered as a entree.

So here are the general results:
* Do NOT use your TS credit for breakfast. The tend to have the lowest value of all meals. The only exception to this are the character breakfasts at Chef Mickey's, Akershus and H&V.
* Do NOT use your TS credit for the ESPN Club or the Sand Trap Bar & Grill. These tend to be very inexpensive places to eat that is better off being paid for OOP.
* Signature (read as 2 TS credit) meals don't really have the value of 1 credit meals from a cost point of view. The only ones that I would recommend are the special events (Spirit of Aloha, Hoop De Doo, Mickey's Backyard BBQ) and to a lesser extent Narcoosee's and Yachtman's Steakhouse.

Overall here are my summary results:
EXCELLENT VALUE
Lunch - Akershus (Photo Package), Tutto Italia
Dinner - Akershus (Photo Package), Chefs De France, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Marakesh, Maya Grill, Tutto Italia

GOOD VALUE
Breakfast - Akershus (Photo Package)
Lunch - Coral Reef, Teppen Edo, Yak and Yeti
Dinner - 1900 Park Fare, Cap'n Jacks, Chef Mickey's, Kona Cafe, LTT, San Angel, Teppen Edo, Yak and Yeti

BAD VALUE
Breakfast - Boma, CRT, Maya Grill
Lunch - Beaches and Cream, ESPN Club, The Plaza, Trail's End
Dinner - Beaches and Cream, ESPN Club, Sand Trap Bar and Grill, The Plaza

WORST VALUE
Breakfast - Boatwright's, Captain's Grill, Grand Floridian Cafe, Kona Cafe, Olivia's Cafe, Sand Trap Bar and Grill, Spoodles, Trail's End, Whispering Canyon
Lunch - Brown Derby

Thanks for the info on Tony's. I found the dessert menu for Dinner on AllEars.net, but I did see any dessert menu for Lunch. Do you know if they are the same?

WRT to Ohana, they are an above average value for your TS credit (I put them at $24.99 by taking the price of the meal and subtracting off $2 for a NA beverage). However they are just below my criteria for an good value for a meal (approx $26)

That being said, I love eating there too.

I have a complete list, but just wanted to highlight the exceptionally good values and and the exceptionally bads values. Those value are in between $16 and $26 per TS credit I did not list.

Kona for dinner - $25.51
50's Prime Time for Dinner - $20.95
SciFi for Dinner - $21.74
Mama Melrose's for Dinner - $21.99
H&V for Dinner - $21.99
Brown Derby for Dinner - $16.49 (2 TS Credits needed)

I don't think you are aloud to send a PM until you reach a certain # of posts maybe it's like 10 or somthing... i can't remember but you can recieve them just not send them! HTH...

I'll love a copy as well but my computer doesn't have an excel program so i'm not able to open stuff that's programed in it for some reason i can't get them... oh we'll thanks for you hard work though!!! I love seeing figures as well.

The Sand Trap Bar and Grill is over at the Osprey Golf Course. Basically, the only to reason to eat there is if you are playing there.
