Best and Worst Restrooms?

Bathrooms are always so dreary and industrial like. The Bathrooms at Disney locations can be interesting. The worst always seem to be in Tomorrowland in either DL MK or Futurworld. The best one is off the lobby of the Boardwalk Inn, across from The Belvue Lounge. It is small and nicely decorated but it has a nice frosted window in it allowing natural light. It feels more personal and less of the "bulk / prescess them through" feeling.

I think the ones next to City Hall are the cleanest in the Magic Kingdom. Those between Adventureland and Frontierland can get funky late in the day.

In Epcot, the ones in front of the Land are usually fairly clean.

Can't recall anything especially memorable about the facilities in the Studios or Animal Kingdom. I'll check them out during the next trip.

My vote for the worst design is the one near the safari at AK. One small doorway. Everyone lines up for the stalls right in front of the door, not knowing there are a bunch more to the left. Then when you are done, you have to squeeze back out the one small doorway...

REstroom by Kali Rapids River Ride in AK is the worst. Floor is constantly wet and this is especially true in the handicapped stall. Apparrently people think it is a place to change. Then when I person with a handicap needs to use it they take their life in their hands because the floor is so slick. Very hard to move from wheelchair it toilet there.
Best I'm not sure. Any one that has a decent sized handicapped stall and no door to navigate to the bathroom area.

I discovered a very nice one in the check-in building (Custom House I think it's called) of the Caribbean Beach Resort. Been back there several times- very upscale even for that resort, similar to the Yacht and Beach Club ones. Would recommend that one, although most people don't spend much time near that building, except for checking in real quick or needing to take care of check out charges.

The rest rooms at the Animal Kingdom Lodge are very cool. Nicely themed with an exotic flair.
Back to the powdered soap, my poor hands were always so dry by the end of the day using the powdered soap! I like the liquid soap, more moisturizing. ;)

WDWAurora-I LOVE those driers! everytime I use a regular hand dryer(which is a lot!) I think of the really good ones!

We are staying at the Dolphin, but have reservations at Beach Club restaurant and will be spending time at the Boardwalk. Will we be able to use the restrooms at those resorts?

Perhaps the US could have Loo Awards. I was in the Tower of London this summer and the restroom there behind the crown jewels had plaques up on the walls stating that they won the "Loo Award." I was impressed that they give out awards.

I don't really hate any of them, but my new favorite is in Dinoland, near that toy store simply because it has the only hand blowers that I like! They have SO much power! The skin on my hand was flapping! It was awesome! hehe

LOL! The ones at Rafiki's Planet Watch are like that, too. They sound like jet engines. It's the only electric hand drier I've ever seen that actually works and you don't have to wipe your hands on your pants to get them dry.

The restrooms at Pizzafari are really neat.

The nicest bathrooms outside of the parks are at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Very clean and beautiful, each one is themed differently.

The worst restroom has to be the ones outside the American pavilion at Epcot. Too small, too far away, never clean enough.

Several years back, someone on these boards posted a link to someone's web page which was a complete listing description and rating of each restroom in WDW. I can't find it now. Anyone remember that? It was pretty funny.

swilphil,
yes, of course, by all means use the washrooms when you visit the resorts! They are not just for guests who are staying there.

K9pal,
Yeah, I remember it...it was called the Thrones of the Kingdom but it no longer exists. I had been looking for it several months back and the link no longer worked nor could I find it with search engines. :(

Best: any one in the Contemporary

Worst: Tom Sawyer's Island

I vote for Beach Club, right between Beaches and Cream and Cape May Cafe, as the best. That bathroom is soooo nice, its the only one I've ever taken pictures IN. lol. Its a must-stop every five times we go to B&C on vacation.
The worst....toss up between the MK Fantasyland/Adventureland and the MGM RnRC outhouse....gross.

Worst: The one in Adventureland leading into Frontierland. Always a line and the smell is horrible.
