Best (and cheap) way to Universal

Anyone have a recommendation. It's just me, one passenger.

Cheapest would be to take the Mears shuttle. We have done this often, and the only real downside is stopping at multiple hotels on the way. But we usually leave early in the morning, so it's not a big deal. Best is a towncar, but for a quick side trip to Universal, I would go with the cheapest way. A shuttle is not so bad when you are not dealing with luggage etc. and time is not such a critical issue.
