We my DW and I always stay in a Moderate for 5 days for Food and Wine in Sept....with the Free Dining. Thinking of staying at an All-Star this go around to save $$$...college tuition is happening:crazy2::crazy2::crazy2:. We've stayed at POP before which was awesome...and we walked over to AoA to eat...which was awesome. I think THE DIS just reviewed All-Star Movies and I think I HAVE TO HAVE THAT CINNAMON ROLL BACON CHEESBURGER!!!! I know The Sports can have a lot of teams...but this is Mid Sept...but I've also heard the large tour groups from S.America stay as well and can be loud. Anyone stay at Movies in a while....recommend? What about the secret menu burger???LOL TIA!

I've mainly stayed at Music and Sports, but I have stayed at the Movies once as a toddler. If you're concerned about crowds, you can always bring your food back to the room or have meals in the parks. You can also order pizza delivery. My family has never experienced noise issues in our rooms, but that's because we only return to our room at night. We have experienced chaotic food courts, but you can follow the 2 solutions above.

I’ve stayed at Sports and Movies and we preferred Movies. The CMs were extra friendly and helpful. We were there in May and the place was packed with dance teams. The food court is where we noticed them the most. They had separate buses to take them over to their events. Inside of our room, we weren’t bothered by anyone.

The only value we haven't tried is Sports. Below is my personal ranking of the Values:

#1:AoA
#2: AS Movies
#3: AS Music
#4: Pop

My wife and I have stayed at Music every year since 2009 and we love it. Not entirely due to the esthetics of the facility but more so because of the staff. I treasure the friends, actually I consider many of them family, that we have learned to cherish over the years of staying at this resort. I will admit that I like the outside decor of movies more but that doesn't even compete with the welcoming smiles we get every year when we return.

I personally like sports. First stop coming and going on the buses and a smaller resort that is easy to navigate...especially with young kids.

I've stayed in Sports and Music. Sports was last year during F&W in the first week September. There were multiple large groups, one of older teens and a younger sports group. The resort was loud and it was impossible to get any food there after coming back after the parks. Huge lines, long waits, and when you finally did get to the front they were out of a bunch of food (like no more side salads with the pizzas, no dressing for the salads when they did have lettuce left, no sauces left for wings). And this wasn't right at closing, I'd get in line at 10pm and wait for 45 minutes. We started going to Disney Springs for food after the parks. It felt very loud and crowded, and I'm not in a hurry to stay there again.

I agree. I love sports too. Small resort...nice layout so that its not a far walk to the main building no matter which building you stay. If buses share, your the first pickup and drop off. Its just awesome! I love the main pool, pretty "board walk" as giant surf boards.

Other than sports, I like Pop. Esp now that the rooms are refurbished, this would be my choice. I love the option of having a pretty lakeview and going to AoA to eat and browse. :)

You should have no problems in September with The 15s-they will most,if not all, be back in school by then.:)

I tend to stay at whichever one is less. I try to avoid the food courts except for either a very early breakfast when they first open up (which I get to go and take to my room) or a later breakfast when everyone else has headed to the parks. We rarely, if ever, eat lunch or supper there. We just find too much other food to enjoy in the parks or at the moderate/deluxe resorts.
