besides WDW best/ favorite family vacation spot?

only tossing up ideas with DH.
if you did not go to WDW, where would you go/ do you go on family vaation?
we have 2 DD's ages 13 & 5 when we travel.....was looking at possible Hawaii....or somewhere warm but no too hot. DH likes the idea of niagra falls ......grand canyon.
anyone care to share where else they vacation when they dont go to WDW?

We love Yellowstone and the Black Hills area.
We love New England and all it has to offer, beautiful place.
Canada, coastal- either one.
We really enjoy going to a really nice resort that is only 1.5 hours away from us, we do weekend trips there and it is very relaxing.
But it all depends on your style. I like natural beauty so go for that sort of thing, Vegas is pure torture for me.
