at, what do you use your kitchen table for??

Mine has suddenly become a work bench for a scout project because the workbench in the garage is full of stuff. My son and his dad are building a toolbox and there is lots of hammering going on.:headache:

Don't even get me started on my dining room table.:sad2: My son decided over a week ago to begin some huge Lego project so it's covered from one end to the other.:rotfl:

Well, ours holds my computer, and is where the kids do homework. I am a "bad parent" and we eat in the living room.

Ummmm...right now.....tax stuff is strewn all over it!!!

You are NOT a bad parent! Growing up we all ate in the living room around the television. And, I would like to say that I turned out just fine! :rolleyes1

Thanks, I was just preparing myself for possible flaming.

I think that the key is that we all eat together. We talk about our day, and watch "Wheel of Fortune" :)

AD&D Baby! I'm a 12 level barbarian named Candy who will only wear pink armor (Dave the Barbarian anyone?)!

lol

I'm talking nerd speak here--Dungeon's and Dragons.

Funny this thread should come up today because.....

Up until this morning...mine has been a LEGO building table since Christmas, for DS9 & his father. Yes, you read correctly - CHRISTMAS.

We have been eating at our VERY large kitchen island for almost 3 months.
DS9 got a lot of Lego building sets (some of the $100.00 ones) for Christmas & I let him start setting them up & keeping them on the table. Well this morning I said it was time to move them out.

I finally have my table back! :yay:

:rotfl: Well my son is going to have to have it cleared off by Easter dinner.:rotfl:

My table will be cleared off in late April for this purpose! DH and DS12 play, and the gang is coming here for once.

We have an open plan kitchen/dining room, so the dining table is always covered in stuff! Laundry, homework, bags, you name it, its there! We use it for pretty much anything besides eating. The island in the kitchen usually has the mail sitting on it.

Mine is a catch all. Today,I removed my daughter's binder and her wallet, some books and magazines, hubby's newsletter. One day,I'll put some adhesive on the dang thing to boo by trap it. Our table is about 15 ft from the garage entry and it's the closest place to dump things.

Sweet! I'm not the only one! Yay!

Have you ever tried playing? DMs are often extremly nice to girl players, since there are so few of us! ;)

Anyway, my table also doubles as my scrapbooking station. And is quite frequently overrun by my products!

Storage for bread, cake....salt,pepper, sugar Sweet & Low.

We never eat at the Kitchen table...too small. Always use the Dining room table. We are a Fancy Lot!:rolleyes1

I have not played, not really good at the whole role playing thing. Their group has a girl, and she is the DM sometimes. Another group they play with has two females in it. What is great about both groups, is that they let DS12 play, and have for over 2 years.
