I'm downloading some Bert Kaempfert music :) I love this stuff :p
Big Band, a trumpeter, for those that aren't familiar.

I played "The Happy Trumpeter" and my 5 year old came flying into the room, giggling and laughing, and began bouncing and dancing all over... I think it has that effect on a lot of people :teeth: it's just happy music!

If you're as old as I am (43) and grew up in the NYC metro area, you may remember hearing it on the Sandy Becker Show station breaks :)

for some samples Kaempferts Greatest at Amazon . Try "That Happy Feeling" :) :)

Yay, Bert Kaempfert! I recall his bouncy insturmentals he made in the 60s. His biggest hits included Wonderland By Night, A Swingin' Safari and Red Roses for a Blue Lady. He also wrote the tune Strangers in the Night, a big hit for Sinatra.

I loved Sandy Becker!!:D As soon as I heard that music clip I was a kid again:D

A great show, wasn't it, Krisu?? :) His 'characters' cracked me up. I loved "Hambone"! :p

Here's a fun bit of trivia about Bert Kaempfert: He was the producer of some the earliest recordings by The Beatles. They met and recorded the songs during the Beatles stints in Hamburg, Germany. For the most part the Beatles played backup to singer Tony Sheridan on songs such as My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean, When the Saints Go Marching, and Sweet Georgia Brown.
