Sorry to not have been around much today (and missing the 'fun with Lars' on the riddle LOL - bless her!)

I've been up to all kinds, including:

* Last minute shopping for the hols

* A five hour (!!) chat with my friend about our hopeful trip to Romania this autumn

* Baking my first ever meat and potato pie, and then eating it along with DBF

So many last minute jobs to do these next few days! Not sure how often I'll get on here so I'm just sorting out some pictures for you all I'll post a link as soon as poss...

77 degrees and still HOT HOT HOT!!! No complaints though! Need to get some extra zzzz's tonight as I'm up and out (rootin' and tootin") early tomorrow to a meeting in Danbury for the day...HOPEFULLY I'll get to play the "riddle" in the AM before I hit the road!

Lars - hope you had a wonderful birthday and thanks for not taking the riddle joke seriously.

Going to LK's tomorrow to hear Logan's band concert, then off to LK's house for lunch and for the kiddies to swim. LK will then lend Leah to me the rest of the day and night to spend time w/ my kids. Our dear mother will then have 3 kids to watch at my house on Thursday when LK and I go to work. God Bless Mothers!!!

We had a great summer day at Six Flags!!! We made good use of their wonderful water park and rode almost every ride we wanted to.....some several times.

Poor EB....most of the coasters she wanted to ride required 52 inches and she tops out at 51. We told her we'd keep watering her so she'd grow some more before we go to HersheyPark in August.

I'm too pooped to catchup on the boards tonight....hope everyone is well.

Hi all. Just on for a minute to let you know that we are experiencing computer trouble. Sigh. I can get on DH's work computer, but I probably won't be on much tomorrow, at least until we get the problem resolved.

Yes, we go on Sunday WooHoo! Planning is of course all done and now all there is to do is.... finish packing.... finish buying.... get more excited... tidy my house .... get even more excited... take Mips to the cattery.... get so excited we can't sleep... and then fly!

Hope you get it all sorted, I'd like to see a trip report/piccys on my return
