TGIF Indeed! Now I only have:

3 days of weekend
2.5 days of self-employment
1.5 days of employment
and 1 day in York (a lovely, very historic city nearby) before my trip to FL!!! OOOH! and not to forget the fabulous Cerys concert I am going to on Monday

Melissa - how exciting - those days will fly by!!

Just 30 more minutes until the girls start arriving. Should be a rather LOUD evening, but fun! Poor DH has an ear infection that is really hurting him, so I hope that 5 screaming 8 year olds doesn't make it much worse.

I am so jealous of those of you going to the Harry Potter events! I would probably have taken my two tonight if we weren't having this party. Maybe if the girls are still awake at midnight I'll take them anyway!

Just popping in to say hello! We have another nephew born this morning weighing in at 7lbs 15 oz, Darren Shane.
Wow! 2 nephews in 3 days! I'll be getting my baby fix this weekend for sure!

Looks like Cathy here has missed some chatting today!!! Loved the doll photo.....I remember her well!

It was a day of happy (for Sandi) and sad news (for Alan) for some of our friends here. I really liked how you phrased it Alan: "We will go tonight and tomorrow to share stories and celebrate his life" I attended a funeral service only yesterday and it too was a celebration of my friend's mother's life.

Any angels up at midnight (EST that is!).......or even before......I'll be at Barnes & Noble but I'll have my cell phone on!!!

Hi, I will be somewhere at 9pm, but not at any book store!!! Y'all have a great time. I'll wait for the DVD.

Glasses sure are expensive anymore. Even with insurance I had to pay 300.00. Hopefully they will bring me the winning lottery numbers, a date with Kevin and Mel (together or seperate, I don't care) and a pass into WDW for life. If not, I will be able to read at the pool, got those magnetic clips with my no line bifocals in the clear part.

Old age is great.

Alan, I am so very sorry to hear about your friend My prayers are with all who loved him. I do like the thought that you will be celebrating his life though with all the stories... that is the best way to let a memory live on.

Melissa, you must be so excited about your trip by now!!!!! I hope you enjoy the few days before you go... especially at that concert!

Sandi, congrats and congrats again!!!! That is wonderful news for your family

I hope you all who are doing the HP thing tonight will enjoy it! I admit I never got into it, so I won't be out at midnight myself. But I am sure many of you will have a great time!

And not to be a downer, but right now my feelings are hurt pretty badly by some I thought were friends... I don't want to be the downer, but I could use a hug or some good thoughts my way. Thanks all for being the dear friends you are

Elaine, I'm sorry you are hurt. Hope it was just a misunderstanding and not something bigger. I hate it when folks hurt someone I care about. Know that we are thinking of you. Here's some pixie dust and a hug.

We are starting out at Borders at 9:00 and maybe moving on to Barnes and Noble at 10:00. Our book should arrive any day from Amazon, so we don't need to wait in line for a book at midnight. (In fact, DH says he checked the tracking and it has reached our local post office. Maybe it'll arrive tomorrow)

Yes I'm getting bouncy and excited by the fact that we go to FL in just over a week, and we should be getting the new HPotter book any day now... and I just phoned one of my best friends who lives in Hong Kong, bless her, it was her birthday today (20th) but it is now 6.30am on 21st there - I woke her up, oops!!

Elaine - Many ***hugs*** from someone who has been there more times than I care to mention... I hope it all works out for you

I've seen Brooks and Dunn a couple of times in concert .. they put on a great show .....plus some other good acts with them on this tour including Brad Paisley (if the same group tours w/ them all summer !)......

I ordered HP from Amazon with some other books. The kids leave for camp Sunday and Monday, so it really doesn't matter when it arrives.

To clarify, it was NOT an Angel issue at all... I won't really name names becuase that isn't my style but it wasn't anything any of you all did. And trust me, if I am annoyed or hurt by someone, I do air it out (in private) because it is better to let things like that out than to let them go unresolved.

Anyhoo....

You know with all you into HP so much, I might have to try reading one of the books to see what I think

We had ticket #38 and had our books by about 12:10!!! It was a lot of fun...but we certainly had our share of pushy parents and kids. Kind of like for character greetings in the World.
