Of course I am jealous that you will be visiting the Mouse while I am probably working. We will have to time a visit where we can all meet up someday in person. Oh, you will have to send us a post card form Inoventions, too.

Well your Mustang is safe then (but he's still envious!!).

The car I've pictured is a Kia Sportage (but I love the Suzukis too.. basically any 4x4 but I have been addicted to Kia's for about 4 yrs or so... loved it when I lived in FL cos' at that time they weren't very popular over here but *everyone* seemed to have one there so I could daydream to my hearts content!)

Neither me or my DBF have a drivers licence yet (there is a looong story behind me on that and DBF has only just started to learn)... we are currently both taking lessons so hopefully after our WDW trip we'll get something sorted out. My Dad does all the driving in FL and always has since our first trip in '89 but this time my Mum will also be on the insurance so she may give it a go! My Dad just seems to slipstream in there!

Yeah... tis a shame we cannot meet! I got quite excited when I saw that your countdown said 29 days but that's not for WDW, grr! Arizona is a beautiful state tho' so I'm sure you are happy there!

Cya,
Gaspode

BTW, do you have AIM?

mickeyfan: I'm getting him the Die Another Day dvd as a late b-day present and I'm otherwise stuck, just needing ideas right now

I have a tiny problem though. I just did a search to find where everyone posted what size lime green thong they wear, and not everyone answered that question! Could everyone please post the answer again? Thanks!!

Sorry Baboo never saw the first post and am just now getting to this one. I too thought you were asking about Thongs as in the Lime Green Thongs everyone talks about, and I kept thinking, does Baboo really want to know all of our waist sizes?
But now that I think you mean the ones you wear on our feet, I wear a size 9.

Marsha - my DH did go to the pool place today and got all of our money refunded. we originally put the whole thing on a charge which was getting 0% for 15 months. can we come swim in your pool or even your new sink which looks great by the way.

Lars - my DH told me that someone was trying to IM me tonight. he was on the computer while i was at LK's house. i wish he would have just IM'd back that it was him not me on the computer. don't think i was ignoring you.

About your question Satine, I don't have a favorite. Just like things to smell nice not overpowering. Maybe a nice green apple smell.

Sent my box today, and it's NOT going out west. Hopefully, everything will get to where it's going in one piece though.

Hi all :) Love the new sink Marsha :)

Great day today here :) Spent the whole day at the parks so the next two days we are going to just take it easy :)

I hope you all are doing well. I heard some nasty storms were ripping through the midwest and east coast so I hope everyone is safe.

Melissa, I have AIM - I am mousefan5. Wow that you and DBF don't drive yet! Of course there is easier public transport in the UK than a lot of places here. Just about everyone here learns to drive and gets their license at 16. ANd in the state I live in, you get it at 16 and you never have to renew it till you are 60! You don;t even need a new picture, but everyone who gets it that early goes back after they are 21, because the license says "Under 21" and it has a different layout (portrait, not landscape) so it's easy to see who is legal for drinking and gambling at the casino.

Lorraine, good for you getting back the $$$. Too bad things like this happen. Hopefully you and DH will find better service somewhere and get that pool in! In the meantime, come on out, the water was 88 today, right now the air is 99, but it is too chiily for night swimming yet. I had fun today in the water, I have 2 battery operated "reef fish", they swim all around in the pool, their tails move back and forth so they can swim,. One looks like Nemo! I think I will get a couple more, there are some differnt ones this year. It is really funny to watch them, the only problen is they get stuck in the skimmer and then you have to fish them out. And my tan is already looking good. I'll be nice and brown when we all meet up in August. Pete loves the new sink, he got mad at me tonight for doing his dinner dishes, etc. I think he wanted to play with the sprayer!

Satine, DVDs are always a good gift, I could ask my sone what he likes, he's 26, that's about your age (a little older, I know).

Big plans for tomorrow, grocery shopping and a lttle more flooring work, gotta get the transitions in between the laminate and the carpet. Don't be jealous.............

Edited to add - Elaine you snuck in while I was typing!!!! I know you are having a blast. Take lots of pictures, and enjoy.

Good Morning Everyone,
Yesterday was a total bust for us....two baseball games zapped any energy for getting stuff done in the afternoon, and then the rains started again, around 3, and it's been raining since.....soooo..no lawn mowing again!
We were planning to see Nemo last night, but Patrick spent the night at a friends so hopefully, we'll go today....doesn't look promising to get the nascar race in, so we can go to the movies.
Elaine, hope ou're having a BLAST. There is a family we know here in town that just left yesterday for 10 days at WDW....I babysit her youngest DD occassionally...and it kills me to know they went to wdw with no plan at all......i said to her this week, so, where are you eating???? She had no PS.....figured one night they'd stop at the castle to eat with Cinderella..... were we all that niave at one time????????? Not to mention the fact that I know she paid rack rate for EVERYTHING!!!!

YIKES, Steph! Rack rate for everything? No PS ANYWHERE???? Our first trip we did pay rack rate for the room (it was a gift from my sister) but we at least had some PSsss.....I had a friend who did that, though....they were so discouraged that they decided never to go again. I had offered to help her plan but she's just not a planner at all....and she didn't read anything about WDW so she had no idea how enormous it really was. I hope things turn out better for your friend and her family.

Yesterday was a WET ONE! LOL! Matt swam and got a gold time in 100 meter breastroke - a long course time. Almost did it in 100 backstroke but lost his momentum in the last lap.

And the weather sucked, too! LOL LOL LOL

It's still pouring rain here. I'll never get to plant annuals this year. Everything is just going to rot.....

Hmmmm......I guess my bedroom could use a good cleaning out....but I do have a good book started.....book.....clean.....book....clean......book.....clean....

Now is THAT a choice????

A quick good morning from southern NJ!! I waved to you when we passed Rutgers yesterday Gina...glad Matt did so well! :D It's still pouring down here this morning and I'm sure it's the same at home too. We're going to have a lovely ride home later this afternoon. I also think I'll never get to plant any annuals this year either.

I also waved towards Valerie's way on the way through NY yesterday and am waving in the direction of Maryland right now Carol - do you see me???

We're supposed to be going to a flea market soon...hope it's an indoor one. Have a great Sunday everyone! :D

Gail, it's still raining here. Been raining since yesterday afternoon. I wish Mother Nature would lighten up. This is ridiculous.

I hope everyone has a great Sunday! Try and stay dry if you're in the rainy part of the country.

~Lorraine-Don't worry about the IM. I was just expressing how sorry I was about the pool fiasco. MY DH probably would have done the same thing!:D
~E!-I'm glad you're getting in some relaxation time too!
~Gail-Enjoy the flea market!
~Marsha-I LOVE the new sink! and I say let DH play with the sprayer next time the dishes are dirty:p
~CS-I'm sure that your DBF will love anything you get him for your anniversary!! what about tickets to a sporting event or concert? or gift certificates to a favorite store?
~Steph-I'm trying to talk DH into seeing Nemo today too but he's been mumbling something about crowds.....
~Gina-Congrats to Matt on the Gold time!! He'll get it in backstroke next time:D
~Gaspode-I had quite a few friends who chose not to get their DLs at 16 for various reasons. Here in my state you have to renew your DL every few years.
??BTW Marsha-Does it cost an arm and a leg to get that once in a lifetime liscense? We pay every time here...I think it goes to rod maintenence.

Good morning everyone!

Gail, I saw you waving. Earlier I posted that I forgot where you wewre off to, but I did remember later.

It is like a hurricane or nor'easter here today. VERY windy and raining, and DD has a soccer game. Then there is a big family dinner at a nice restaurant for FIL's 80th Birthday, which was Friday.

DH and I did get the grass cut yesterday. And I finally bought a swimsuit. Gail, I got the glacier blue faille tankini by Lands End at Sears.

Got to get some things done before soccer.

See y'all.

It's 82 at 7:25, and sunny (gasp!!!!).

Pete gets to do the dishes this morning, he is so excited!!!!!

Laura, it cost $25.00 to get your license, that's it. If you want, you can get you picture remade every now and again for 2 or 3. We live in a cheap state, except for gasoline and insurance. Our auto insurance is very high because of the speed limits are 75 or 85 on some roads and people speed a lot. And our roads don't have the pot holes like you guys get, at least not in the valley. In the high country, they get snow, so I40 does have to be plowed, but it's nothing like what the rest of the country gets. We just have to keep building or widening, too many people are moving here.

Gail, even I got up in the dark and saw you waving!!!!!

Elaine, nice picture, you and Beth must be having a blast.

Steph - that's how Disney makes their money. Of all the visitors they get, I bet 70 to 80% pay rack rates or close to it. My sister says I am doing too much planning for August, but then she says, we HAVE to have the Fantasmic meal plan so we can get in and get seats, oh and we really want to see Illuminations at least twice, and Connor wants to eat at Donald's in AK, etc etc. I think it's a lot better that I not tell her what we are doing, except those few things.

Gina - congrats to Matt, it's nice to get gold!

I saw the meister checked in at the riddle and dressed us all, good thing, I know many of you attend church and being pantless, well

Off to do my exciting Sunday stuff. See you all later.

Good morning all...... still raining here too

Gail, I'll be waving as you cruise through CT on your way home
tonight !

Baboo - my lime green thong size would be a 9 ............

I should do some cleaning today since it's such an indoor kind of day .... but I don't wanna !!! Maybe just a little bit to curb my guilt :D

Talk to ya later !

Sandy-Are you anywhere near Old Saybrook CT? That's where one of my closest friends grew up.
Marsha-We did the Fantasmic Dinner package in April & we ate at Mama Melrose's........it was delicious!!! The tiramisu is wonderful!!!!
Baboo-I already got my Angel box so I'm sure it's not my thong size you need but just FYI I have big feet.....size 9:D
Carol-I hope you enjoy the Birthday Party.
Steph-How was Nemo??? We started going to McDonald's to collect the toys...so far Nemo & Dorie are on my kitchen counter.

I'm trying for HBD for the Fantasmick. It will probably be a better choice for me on low carb. Or not!

I got the Nemo from one of my employees, have you tried to fill it with water and squirt anybody? I have it here somewhere, but it is now in a box, I brought almost all my personal stuff home from work, once again, the guest bed is covered with boxes, baqs and stuff. I really don't like the animae directions that came in the bag.

btw - air temp 106, water temp 90, humidity 7%. I love the desert.

Hi gang.

Dinner was great. I sat next to my 22 yo niece who is also doing Weight Watchers and we tried to be good together. When everyone was having dessert, we couldn't say no but at least shared one.

The sun is out here, now. This after standing out in the cold wind for a soccer game this afternoon. June 1 and 60º is nuts.

I anyone is around later, maybe we can chat.
