It is raining again here today. I am sick of it. At least they have stopped saying we are in a drought.

Just working around the house since church this morning. Cleaning in the basement and may go to the attic next.

DD wants lobster for her birthday dinner. It is really Friday but they are on sale this weekend and we have the time, so I will be cooking lobster tonight. Boyfriend is here for dinner too.

Lars, that jewelry is looking good. I hope you are enjoying it too.

Lars - I like the blue bracelet too since blue is my favorite color. Any chance of doing a lime green one for the angels? Bet you would get a lot of sales!

Went to Home Depot and spent a lot. It always seems like we are fixing up things.

Carol - What great pictures! Your daughter and all her friends really looked to be enjoying their evening. We don't have proms here so I never got chance for any piccys like that!

Although here is one from a 'final work do' we had before we were all made redundant. The dress I am wearing is a 'Morgan and Co by Linda Bernell (?)' and I believe is an American prom dress... I love it, but don't get much chance to wear it!

Hey all! I'm back from camping and I have to tell you, sitting in my living room where we've already turned off the heat for the season is warmer than how it was in the woods. We had a great time, but it rained all night. The girls did great though and learned that even though it rains, you can still have a good time. They were real troopers even with the bad weather. The only casualty was DD's sneakers, which got pushed out of the tent during the night and ended soaked from the rain. Thank God I packed second pair of shoes for both of us.

Laura, loved the new jewelry! I hope you do well with it.

Gail, I hope you're feeling better. I'm off to take a nap.....didn't get much sleep last night.

Where do you get your pretty beads and clasps? What do you string them on?

Merry-We go to a bead store, there are several around here, and we also go to 'JoAnn Etc' & 'Michael's' if there are any near you. We have used Tiger's Tail to string them on in the past but currently we are using something called Bead-a-lon. My DD & I are doing this together and we are having a BLAST!!

Lorraine, going to Home Depot and/or Lowes is in the man club rules, there must be a trip there on Sundays, at least 3 of 4 a month. We went today and got vinyl cove base for the bath tub. Pete put the enntryway, hallway and guest bath floor in yesterday, so the tub gets new base.

Melissa, you look very nice in that dress, I wish I had someplace to go to wear that kind of thing once in a while.

Gail, feel better soon, at least there is one more day off this week.

Nice quiet weekend for me, I got in the pool yesterday and though I did ok, but I did get a little dark pink. Got in 2 times today, once to scrape the scale build up on the tile off and once just to float around with Pete. He decided to get his own float this year, a good one, we did errands after he got home from his 2 side jobs, and then he really shocked me by going to Costco after we had been in the pool. He really wanted that float! He is not usually up for going out more than once, and never wants to go to Cosco. Hmmm, is this the same man I am used to?

Tomorrow, I guess I will be in the pool, it's a shame not to have any other interests!!!!!

Hope you all are having a great long weekend, Elaine is visiting with some really nice Disers, I met Towncrier in December, and some of the others that are at the meet. Wonder if Elain remembered her uniform???????

Marsha - your DH is now probably finding out how much stuff is in Cosco's. He might become addicted. I usually make a lot of trips to Home Depot too. I usually get most of my flowers there. Today we bought a privacy fence for the side of the yard that the pool is going in. Mr. Diggerman is supposed to come Wednesday and hopefully the pool people will follow shortly. In the meantime, I will dream that I am floating along in your wonderful pool. Are you serving any frozen drinks?

Pete is well aware of pricing at Costco, we have belonged since as long as I can remember, when it was Price Club, we still call it that. He thinks we need to buy a freezer and stock it with everyting there. It's just the 2 of us, is he nuts?

No frozen drinks, tomorrow I have to wash all the patio furniture. Maybe we will concoct some little icy one after that.

It took 45 business days for our pool to be built, I hope your is a little quicker.

Evening all....just a quick hi before I crash! The wedding was lovely. It was held at a place called the Meadowbrook Inn in the southern part of RI. The landscaping was beautiful.....the guests were escorted across a bridge to the area for the ceremony and while it was cool outside the rains held off. I felt pretty good during the day but I'm fading fast.

Glad you survived the camping trip Deb......good thinking about the extra shoes. I always brought extra everything when we'd go camping with the cub scouts.

Carol - DD's pictures are lovely, she's getting so grown up. I remember a picture you had posted when she was in a wedding and I think she's changed a bunch since then. Hope you all enjoyed your lobster!

Marsha, I just now caught your comment about the uniform. You are terrible No, didn't wear that, but I did have a wonderful time there.

I know I missed a bunch, but truthfully I am tired from getting up early to do the riddle after getting home so late last night (about 11:30). I enjoyed the day and even the drive home wasn't too terrible altough it was rather late start for us. Great group of people

I'm sick of feeling sick! I'm starting to suspect it's my tonsils but since it's a holiday I'm stuck until tomorrow to do something. I checked the urgent care places that my insurance cover and have decided it's not urgent enough to go there!
It's another rainy day in RI too but at least it's helping my grass grow and for the first time in a few years Matt is not marching in a parade today.
