Wow, I would have thought 4th or so. Braces at that age, sheesh, where have I been? I have to meet her when we are in WDW. How old is the boy? What about the twin's kids? I'll never be able to keep up with all of you and your families................

Good morning, angels!

Here's a "quick" (NOT) update on your pal, Al.

I was in pain various days last week from the final kidney stone of a set of three discovered back in October. They put me to sleep yesterday and shocked the sucker into several small pieces.

I am back at work today and sore but primarily in my throat! Because they did the procedure with me on my stomach they placed a tube in my mouth after they knocked me out.

DD's last day of K-4 was Friday. We went to a class picnic and then registered her for K-5 at a private school that DW really likes.

My van is in a town north of us being repaired for hail damage. IF I can get a ride, I should be able to pick it up today.

A realtor comes by Wednesday to look at our house and we are looking at a FSBO with a home inspector next week.

And oh yes, clues for this morning's riddle would be appreciated!

ALan, I feel your pain. I have 2 of those rascals from my last passing episode that decided to stay put. Every now and again, they move, just enough to let me know they are still there. I have never had the blasting done, but there is always a first time, eh?

Elaine just bought 2 new cars with hail damage, and you are getting yours fixed. THat is pretty funny. We have a couple of places in town that can fix those type of dents with out drilling or paining etc. I had them do the door dings, it was great. Now I have a new one to get done, something to do on my retirement days, I guess.

Wow, selling your house and buying one. DH loves to tell me we need to do that, I am quite happy with the one I have. But I know about trying to get into good schools, neighborhoods, etc. Best of luck on both parts!

PS I sent you a pm.

Alan, we've missed you around here! Hope you are feeling better soon. Good luck with the house.

Marsha, they really start braces early these days. My son also got his on in second grade. They call this "phase 1" with possibly a "phase 2" in a few years. Supposedly, if you get them early enough, you won't need to wear them as long when you are older. Leah's should only be on for a few month this time. Leah is in second, Logan is in 4th. Lorraine has Brendan in kindergarten and Shannon who is 3 1/2 years old. Somebody should start a journal so we can keep track of all of this!;)

Hey Alan! Good to see you~we missed you around here!!!
I'm sorry that you had to go through all of that pain & I hope you'll be as good as new very soon. Good Luck with the house!

Matt had phase 1 & now they're getting ready for phase 2.:( Phase 2 is more expensive than phase 1 was.

Gotta run......work beckons....:(

LAUNDRY CRISIS

Okay Angels...I need your help FAST!!!!
I have a BRAND NEW pair of khaki colored shorts, and dear Miss Meghan just got nail polish on them.....not a lot...but it's bright pink

How can I get this out of these shorts???????

odorless mineral spirits may take out the color, but more than likely not.

I searched the Queen of CLean site, she doesn't say anything about nail polish.

I'll keep looking

Stephanie - I'm not a great laundry expert. Would nail polish remover work?

Find your nearest AMWAY distributer and tell them you will buy a bottle of pre-treatment/stain remover if they can demonstrate that it works with your shorts!

I don't know if it will handle nail polish or not....

Alan, you are downright mean! I like it!!!!!

fashion crisis:

roat trip to six flags over TX with bf and I can't decided between a Chinese top from Wet Seal or a Osbournes t-shirt from Spancers

I tried nail polish remover right off, but the polish was absorbed by the fabric....I'll try the detergent Marsha, and then let you know how it works.....barring that I guess I'm going back to Target to replace them.....sheesh....

Maybe you can dye the shorts bright pink? ;) Hope you can get it out.

Satine, how about a pair of khaki shorts with bright pink nail polish on them? I hear it's the latest fashion statement...;)

If not, I'd go with the Chinese top! :D

I vote for the chinese top also. there is something odd about having your bosom associated with swearing brits that is just not attractive.

Have fun at 6 FLags, don't get sunburned.
