My box is sealed and labeled, but I left it here today. Since I am "working from home" tomorrow (yeah, that's what they call it), I will be taking it to the PO tomorrow and sending it via priority mail. Nothing is too good for Carol.

Guess what................. I won 4 tickets to see Finding Nemo. It's on Thursday, I gotta get 3 friends to go with me!

Evening all! Wow, I can't believe what I missed today not being able to stop by. Just got home from my last Girl Scout meeting before this weekend's camping trips. My troop is a Junior troop and this is the second year we're going camping. The girls are all excited. I'm hoping DD is feeling a lot better by Saturday. Well, I'll be here tomorrow as it's DH will go to work tomorrow and I will stay home with DD. We swap off depending on who has the most going on at work on the day in question. Works for us, but I call home a lot when it's my turn to go to work. Have a great night all!

Oh boy!! I'll be getting my box from from Marsha soon.

We made it through both soccer games with good weather. Actually, only one game. The first game, the other team didn't show up. Apparently this isn't the first time they've done that. So, the kids practiced then won the second game. And the pizza was good.

Thanks for finding the picture of Gaspode, Stephanie. It is a nice picture. I do hear the British accent when I read her.

Almost had a crisis here.....9:01.....AI just ended.....and the phone doesn't work.....tried all 3 "land lines"....no dial tone! Being the industrious one that I am I grabbed the cell phone! Luckily the phone lines came back fast or there would have been a riot in RI!!!

Are all the tickets for the movie taken Marsha? I have a full tank of gas and I'm not afraid to us it!

Gail - depending on the weather gods, I may be going to Six Flags this weekend !! I haven't been there since it's been Riverside so I'm sure I'm in for a huge culture shock .....
I bought a season pass from work - a bunch of us did .... we work probably about 20 minutes away - right near Bradley airport ....
this may just be a potential meeting spot for us ...... you'll have to let me know when you'll be going !

What a busy night! After AI came 24 which was the finale. Tried to dial for CLAY!!!! , but have had no luck so far. I'm worried my one vote could make the difference. Thought CLAY sounded great on his first and last song. The other one (don't vote for 205) didn't impress me at all. Did anyone else notice how much 205 was sweating at the end? How does he expect to do a whole concert someday?

Raining again here, expecting to see Noah's Ark come sailing by any moment.

I've just caught up with last nights posts and let me say LOL!
I bet if you actually heard me speak you'd be surprised I of course sound British but I don't really sound 'Yorkshire' which is where I am from... most people around here say I sound 'too posh' whatever that means!!
When I was a CM three American families and even one British family asked me if I was Australian!

Of course not rude of you to ask! I was actually surprised none of you had seen my piccy before, I posted on that thread and on the 'Getting to know you' thread (and on the 'How did you meet your SO' thread) and I'm pretty sure most of these said that my real name is: Melissa

Gaspode is the name of a talking dog (okay, so I admit it!) from my favourite series of books the Discworld by Terry Pratchett. When I was 14 and first started using the internet I entered Gaspode (my fav character) as a handle in a chat room and it has stuck ever since (most of the friends I have met on the internet refer to me as Gaspode even when we are meeting in person and I've known them for years!)

Feel free to call me whatever you want, just *not* Mary Poppins!!!!
