I have to agree, I have no idea how Ruben could make it though one concert. He is so run down looking by the end and his voice sounds strained and raspy where in the beginning it did not. Clay is just a wonderful showman and I would LOVE to see someone of his attitude, style and singing ability to win. He really is an IDOL that I think would go far in the industry with whatever he does!

Melissa, I am glad to get to know you even better now. I admit I rarely look at the picture thread and honestly I have been busy I didn't get a chance to read through all the stories on the meeting SO thread & getting to know you thread. So I would have missed those chances. Normally I pick up on things like that, but with life the way it has been this month, I have been 'slacking' I do like how you picked your name though Oh and Jon is a cuite!!!

Let me know where you live and I can tell you the answer to that. Most of WW if company owned, but there are still some pockets in the USA that are franchised.....if your would be attending meetings in the company owned area, you have 2 choices - you can be a "value" member (in our area they pay $9.95 a week) and have to check in each week or a "flexible" member (they pay $13.00 a week) and are NOT required to attend every week, but must check in every four weeks minimum...

It works for me - why not give it a shot?

Laura, I am also walking proof that WW works. I should attain Lifetime tonight. I really like the program and found it very easy. LTM is a great support to me too. It costs $10.95/ week here, when you go every week. You get to miss 3 weeks in 6 months before you pay for missed meetings. Or, $14 to go on the flexible plan. Plus, you can buy 10 weeks at a time, which I should have done, to save more. I think the meetings are helpful. PM me or LTM if you want more info.

Yes Laura. The doctor said she should be 100% by the weekend, but now the weather reports are showing rain and not just little showers. I may have to make a decision by tomorrow night before I buy all the food whether we should cancel or not. I'm hoping I can muster up a ton of pixie dust the rain isn't that bad. We'd still go as long as it's not torrential showers.

I'm slowly catching up on people's news. Two nights of baseball & AI have cut into my computer time.

Good observations about Ruben......I don't think he could get through an entire concert.

Deb - I was wondering if your DD was better. Where do you go camping? At this point the weather doesn't look too promising.
We have an outdoor wedding to attend on Sunday and it may have to be moved indoors.

Last year we went camping in Norton, MA. This year we are going to Plymouth, near Plymouth Plantation. It's not far from where we live, but if it's raining hard, we won't be able to do any of the outdoor things we had planned. The girls will be miserable.
