Evening All!

Didn't do anything exciting today. No poop stories to add either - although now you'll have me scared to enter WDW w/o looking around.

Sandi - I know where Aspinwall is, but I don't really go over in that area. The only thing I go over there for is the Aspinwall Grill - great burgers!

Lars - what's up w/ trying to fry our brains on a Sunday Riddle? Did Bernie put you up to it?

Hi Everybody!
The town I live in had an art fair today...they close off Main Street & that's where they set it up. We spent part of the afternoon there & then headed to the park/lake for the remainder of the afternoon. The county park about 10 minutes away has a part called 'Spray Zone' which the kids just LOVE! It's near the beach but it is an area with that recycled tire/rubber flooring & it's full of different kinds of sprinkling things. They have a blast running through it! We went with my 2 SILs & BILs and their kids & had a great day!!
Melissa-Dylan was chasing birds all day at the park & we were sure one of us was gonna get pooped on I have had it happen before & it's yucky!!
LK-It's a shame that Lenny's team didn't win...but on the other hand at least he won't have to feel bad about going on vacation instead of the BIG game.
Sandi-I'm afraid of heights too....and I would ahve a bit of trouble doing a big bridge on a bike.....a smaller one might not bother me.
Carol-i hpe that Andrew has a GREAT time at band camp!!! Sarah too!! Matthew's is next week...we'll be busy getting everything ready this week.

Is it Sunday evening already???? I've spent the day washing our dirty clothes from vacation (NOT DOING THE LAUNDRY!)

Guess I missed the Sunday riddle which is OK, my brain is still in vacation mode! Sounds like everyone had a nice day....except maybe for Melissa's adventures with the birds!

I'm going to try scan a picture or two.....keep your fingers crossed.

I have to call City Hall again today! They had left a lot of boulders they dug out of our property last fall when the sewer line went in. They told me at that time that they were mine, and they would leave them there for me. I had been getting estimates on how much it would cost to have them moved to the new place for a retaining wall (several hundred $). I sent down to count how many were there on Saturday. On Sunday, we came home from church, and they were all gone!!! There were big front end loader tracks all around. Now I have to call the City and try to find out who took our rocks! Quite sure it was someone working on the project, because they used that equipment.

Diane, this is just not your year for good luck. Hopefully, your house will be completed soon, your health will be back to normal, and you can finally relax ! I wonder if someone took those boulders for their own use? I hope you can find out who did it.

Nice pictures of Gina and Gail (and family)! Hmmmm, Gina, it seems they were trying to rub something in with those matching t-shirts....

Lots of work to get done today, and with no kids home I can work in peace and quiet!

A LONG weekend away at our Annual Business Meetings.....the meeting was actually on Sunday, but the 4 managers whose staff are attending need to go for the weekend to rehearse our presentations and set up for the event....basically, we review last years business performance, intoduce staff to any Innovations to our program (and we DO have what we are considering a major innovation the end of this month), and celebrate performance achievements and length of service awards all in one.... about 600 people attend. Although it's a lot of work, I must admit, it's one of my favorite experiences annually as it is a day spent remembering what our business is really all about....helping people turn their lives around!

Diane - Good luck on ALL fronts today....please let us know how the dr's appointment goes as WELL as your fight with City Hall!

Gail and Gina! WELCOME HOME! I missed seeing you both here, and the photo's are GREAT! Glad you two got to get together....I'm hoping to be able to catch up "in person" with at least ONE angel while I'm away at the world next week!!!!!

No great poop stories to share here....but it sure is fun reading about all of yours (not necessarily while I'm sipping my morning COFFEE though!)!

LK - I've been working hard for the last five hours so know how you feel (and no kids here either ) going to give it a rest now and head off to do some shopping with DBF who needs new shoes, shirts and trousers for work - why do men leave it until they are *desparate* for everything? I've been saying to go since way before our holiday LOL

Gail - What great pictures! I like the first one of you both best, you have such great smiles!! Nice to see your family and Gina too

Hope everyone is well and happy, I'm feeling almost back to my normal self which is nice... now I'd better cross my fingers nothing else shows up

Still a little sleepy here this morning......we stayed up late watching "Bringing Down the House' with Steve Martin & Queen Latifah.....I enjoyed it but now I'm gonna be yawning all day
No major plans for today................same old hum drum existance LOL suuuure.....it's never hum drum with 3 kids! LOL I'm sure I'll end up hauling some kid somewhere...probably Meg & probably the mall becasue she needs a birthday gift for a party this weekend.

Uh, oh, they have started letting people go at work. Two of my friends have lost their jobs this morning, with more to come I am sure. Staff meeting at 11. SB will have to keep me updated since I am at home today.
