Bosley's back! I've been doing some important solo work but have returned.

I looked through the pic threads of Riddle-Con and am so jealous! It looked like a great time, and what a fun group of people.

All of the angels looked beautiful, btw.

Melissa, I can't wait to read the rest of your trip reports.

Welcome back Alan! Bernie is taking a break for the month of August to recharge his riddlin' mind. The daily riddle should return after Labor Day.

Bosley-WELCOME BACK!!! Good to see you!! You missed the all important announcement that Bernie was taking August off and the riddle will return in September. I hope that you're all settled in the new house & that everything is going well for you & your family.

LK - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and SB regarding work today....is it a reorganization or cut backs? Are they planning on making a big announcement at the meeting or will all the staff who are effected have been spoken to by then? Please let us know that you (and SB) are both OK....

ALSO - after returning from my weekend away, I was greeted by a Riddlecon Buddy Box at my door! Thanks to all of you who sent me good wishes in my "diary" book! The photos were great (I still think the Bernie's Angel's shot is my favorite) and a SPECIAL thanks to my buddy Carol who really made me feel like I was part of the happening!!!!

Gaspode - glad you are feeling better.

LTM - not long now before we hopefully meet up.

There are a total of 7 people gone now. No one has told me about the meeting, so we hope it is not our other friend who is having the meeting solo w/ her boss! It is very quiet around here. Not a good day. Hopefully LK and I will be o.k. since we are considered part-time and we don't get benefits.

Well, at least the "rock riddle" is solved. I went down to the road crew, and it seems they BURIED them!!! I told them it would have been nice to ask me about it first, since they were on my property. They have said they will get some others for me. Maybe I can talk them into delivering them to the new site too!

11 people lost their jobs today. They said that is all for right now. SB and I are safe. Please keep our co-workers in your thoughts today. Some of them will be struggling if they can't find new jobs soon.

I will keep your friends in my thoughts and hope that it won't be too rough for them to find new positions....I'm glad that you and Lorraine are safe, but I know it's not easy being the ones "left standing" either, so I'll keep you both in my thoughts as well...

Glad to hear LK and SB are still employed. I'll keep your friends in my prayers. Not the best economy to be searching for jobs.

Band camp starts tomorrow for my son, Carol. I'm sure they'll have fun, but he is dreading the heat and humidity. His car should be ready tomorrow, so that is the good news.

I got both kids enrolled today. I just hate standing in all those lines! And my checkbook was smoking from all the checks I had to write. Both are pretty happy with the classes they were put in. David has 2 advanced placement classes, so it'll be a tough year.

My feet are tired, so I am planning to do something quiet tonight. What are the rest of you planning?

Glad to hear the kids survived Band Camp so far. I take it they don't go away like I did when I was in marching band.

Just got in.....had a quick dinner with our own SPB!!! Sandy is such a doll! We had a thoroughly wonderful time!

It's been really nice meeting up with people face to face. I've enjoyed both of my "mini meets".
