I think John should "spill the beans" about what his "thong thing" was!!

Blood work came back yesterday, and the platlet count is going down, but the CK is still too low. I see the pulmonologist tomorrow. Trouble was, I felt a little stronger yesterday, and did a bit too much, because I had a rough night, and not feeling as well this morning. I just hope they get a handle on this before we go to WDW! I have to finish cleaning house this morning, since we have the agents tour at 10 a.m. Then I have to go pick up x-rays to take with me tomorrow and go to physical therapy. A busy day ahead. DH's college roommate is in town, so we are going out to dinner with them this evening. Hope I make it through the day!!

Bernie, when do you leave for your anniversary trip? I have to make dinner ressies for ours today. This will be kind of nice to celebrate our 35th at WDW! We are thinking Artists Point will be our restaurant of choice.

Diane....sorry to hear you're having a rough day! It's hard (and frustrating) to think that you need to take it slow when you start feeling better....remember though that, that may be the ticket right now to having more "better" days until you have a clearer understainding of what will help long term!!!! Sandi - I HATE RAIN!!!!!!!!!! I wonder how wet everyone is going to get at the Springsteen concert on Wednesday. Congrats to your DD! What restaurant are you going to?

Diane - hope you get feeling stronger again. 35 years - wow! I just celebrated 10 and can't imagine 35. Congrats!

Val - I went to a party store yesterday and they were getting out all the Halloween costumes. Sickening.

Don't overdo it, Diane. I know it's hard, but you need to take it slow so you'll be better in time to go to WDW.

Melissa, glad to hear you aren't worse. Get better quick.

Sandi, I'm looking forward to a pic of the happy couple. Sorry you didn't get to make the trip with DD, but what a happy reason.

DS's car is in the shop being fixed. We had to go ahead and claim the damage to the hood because it had to be replaced and was going to cost between $400 and $700 (depending on if we used an after-market or Honda replacement). The girl who slammed the hood on the hood brace and caused the damage is going to pay, but her dad almost died when he heard how much it was going to cost. Cross your fingers that this won't make our insurance go up. After all, it wasn't David's fault (not in an accident). The girl at State Farm said she didn't THINK it would. On top of that we have damage to all 3 vehicles due to the storm. They are fixing that part of his car while it's in the shop as well.

Then my car is next in line and DH's car is after that. Sigh. We'll be in the shop forever, it seems. But at least they hope to have DS's out in time for band camp. That starts next week for us too, Carol. They enroll on Monday and go check out uniforms. Camp actually begins on Tuesday.

Right now it's only DS's car that is in the shop, so he's gone back to being carless for a few days.

I guess while mine is in the shop, I'll drive David's or maybe keep DH's. He carpools to Oklahoma City, so he might be able to work out a switch of driving days with the other guys. Then his goes into the shop after mine comes out. Whew. What a month this is turning into.

Wow, Sandi, that is great news! We though DS was going to make that leap last year when he brought a girl here for the weekend, and she was so nice and we really liked her, but NOOOO, it was not meant to be. I hope your girl has a beautiful wedding. Mother of the bride wear....hmmmm, the uniform?

Diane, you are supposed to be resting. The realtors can clean for you!

Twins, I hope the rain stays away. We haven't had any in almost 10 days now, DH is saying Monsoon season is already over.

Band camp..... DS was there last week, he got hired to help the drum line, the caption head was the assistant drum instructor when Ian was a senior. I think school starts in 2 weeks in GA. It was funny to hear him talk about being at band camp after not going for 8 years.

Still raining here (no big surprise) but trying to get things done for our annual business meeting this weekend.....there's a lot of preparation for this presentation, but once it's over I'll be in my countdown of 1 week to WDW.....it's nice to have that to look forward too!
