Hello to everyone, I am now off to bed. Have been trying to sleep for the past two hours. Sadly, I seem to be getting worse but we shall see what tomorrow brings!

Look after yourselves (like I'm someone who can currently be saying that to ppl !) and I'll speak to you tomorrow.

Oh, for those of you who may be interested, that job's closing date has now been changed back to 11th August LOL - I wish they would make up their minds! Also, it now states that they would like the successful person to start on 1 September or as near as poss (Sunday bizarrely). I hope that the fact I'm going away for a week from 16th September won't spoil my chances should I get an interview....

Thanks to everyone who took the time to share their photo's, stories and antics from Riddlecon with those of us who weren't lucky enough to have been there!!! I couldn't have asked to have been "passed around" between a better group of folks (thanks to my riddle buddy Carol's cell phone) during one of your many gatherings!

We missed you lots here (things SURE were quiet with our top "chatters" away) and are glad you all got home safe and sound (even if Bernie returned with a MATH riddle in hand!!!!!)!

We finally made it home about 6pm tonight. It was so great to get to meet so many of you! I hope to get to meet the rest of you next year at RC2!

I got to see John's lime green thong on Friday night too! It's not nearly as big as I thought it would be!

Diane, I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better. I hope that the blood tests today show that things are going to be back to normal soon!

Well OK, I did meet Sandy (SPB) for pizza Friday night....low and behold, I told her the wrong name of the restaurant, but she found me anyways!!!!!
We had a very nice time...for just the two of us, we managed to talk talk talk......go figure!

Morning! You're right, Sandi, looks like another wet week here. Our community has a huge parade every year for National Night Out. I am keeping my fingers crossed for tonight. Logan and Lenny will be in the parade with the Cub Scout pack, so it's up to Leah to scoop up all the candy. Knock on wood, it has never rained for the parade in the 12 years we have lived here.

The forecast here is scattered thunderstorms everyday as far as the forecast goes. Gray and very humid. (Just like a Days Inn room.)

Back to the routine today. DH has left for work and I will be going in a while. I think vacation is over. School starts in 3 weeks. Band camp is Monday. Where did the summer go?

My DD, got engaged while at the beach in Cape Cod!
Tonight is the big Dinner with both our families at a very nice restaurant here to congratulate the happy couple.
They've been together for over 3 years, we Love him a lot.

Congratulations on your DD's engagement Sandi! Cape Cod on the beach sounds like a PERFECT setting (although I might have been torn between that choice and poolside in a lime green thong)!!!!

Weather here is pretty gloomy as well.....it's going to be a whole week of t-storms....but SCARIER than THAT....I walked into a store yesterday and there was a sign that said...."Halloween is just around the corner"!!!! Where did this summer go?
