Hi all! Don't you hate it when you head to a place like Target to get something you need for your house and they are out of stock?? I had already picked up a few other things otherwise I would have gone somewhere else to get it all.

Good Afternoon Angels!!!
DH & I drove up to get Megan from camp this morning. We got to watch the ending performances of all the squads. She is doing much better today....no need to worry. Phew!! I am a worrier....I was finally able to get to sleep around 4am for a few hours before heading up to get her. Camp was about 2 hours away.
Now I have a house full of teenage boys 4 of them playing GameCube downstairs.......they are a noisy bunch!
Meg is napping & I can't believe she's able to sleep wiht all this racket!
E!- I get annoyed when the store I go to is out of whatever I'm after...especially when it's an advertised special on the first day of the sale!
LK & SB-Happy Birthday to your Dad......have fun at the party!
Sandi-It sounds like you had fun at the picnic! Congrats on winning!
Carol-I plan on having a Margarita in hand tomorrow night!!!

Lars, how was the performance? All that brings back memories of having to do all sorts of stuff for DS, now I only have to give him $$$$ and take him to WDW

I managed to dust all the Mickey Beanies and plush. Then I decided to put the Taco Bell dogs and some other non Mickey and Eeyore (he is tooooo cute) into storage and spread the Mickeys out. Still have to do the ceramics and the Beanie Bears.

MerryPoppins, I have a few older Minnie Beanies, (sometimes I HAD to buy them both to get the Mickey I wanted) are there any she is looking for?

Her squad was one of the ones invited to perform at the Citrus Bowl this year. hmmmmmm New Year's in Orlando....I'll have to think about that for about 2 seconds!!!LOL! I hope the school board will let them go!

Hey Lars and Carol (and Elaine, too!) - my DS is only 10, but he would love to hang out with your boys and play anything electronic! Hmmm, boys in one corner, girls in the other, we'll get the DH's to start talking sports or scouts, and then we'll be free to do our own thing! After we have a few drinks, we are going to locate the local tattoo parlor and hold Elaine's hands while she gets that small Mickey tattoo she has always wanted!

Big Woo Hoo moment here: while I was at my sister's house, I asked for my old clarinet back since my nephew isn't playing it anymore. I brought it home and was very surprised to see that I could still play it! I borrowed some of Logan's music books and spent some time playing the songs. I think I will look into joining the community band at some point.

Yay for you though, glad you were still able to play. I often wonder how bad I will sound if I ever pick up a french horn or flute (or the like). I think joining a community band would be fun though

Oh, that's right Elaine, you NEVER mentioned anything about getting a small Mickey tattoo on your shoulder. I think I have you mixed up with someone else...

You're right LK, I am sure the playing would come back to me. I am sure the flute would come back quicker since I played that from 4th grade on up. My flute got sold in college though and I'd have to buy a new one... probably would buy used. Now a french horn on the other hand..... boy those are a pretty penny and doubt I'll be touching one of those soon.

Oh and don't worry about Luis reading... he don't care at all. He'd just laugh and tease me more....... so wait, DON'T say anything so I don't get teased more

LK - i don't even know where my saxophone is at mom's house, but it is probably in bad shape since it hasn't been used in almost 20 years.

Nancy - stop in anytime although it gets kinda crazy here.

Marsha - coconut rum....hmmmm is the cabana boy serving it to you? I don't care for rum too much, I'd much rather have gin drinks.

Lars - glad your DD is fine today. Anytime you are away from home there are lonely moments.

My DH called from his training in Louisiana. He has to share a room w/ another guy! Boy is he mad. I bet he would rather listen to me complaining than share a room for a week w/ another guy.
