Hiya All

Right, first off very sorry to have scared you all this morning! I want you to know that DBF is *fine*. He went to work but was still pretty shaken (obviously) so when he got there he spoke to his boss and decided to take a holiday day. He got a lift back home with my Dad and I've been checking in with him by phone constantly all day. He feels a lot better but his back is hurting, I think mostly from bruising. If I suspect anything more is amiss I will take him to the Drs first thing tomorrow, but honestly he is okay

However, esp. as I've had one or two minor falls on our stairs as well, my Mum (and now me) think we should consider moving sooner than originally anticipated so this is something to mull over upon our return from the World!

Now then, let me take a look around this place.... very very nice! And certainly getting me into the holiday mood, thanks Marsha!

John - you sure saw off that Juan-fella LOL

Steph - hope you are okay after your tangle with the hedge trimmers!

110 on the weather bug. Hotter than that on the patio. But my new glasses, you know the ones that cost me $300.00 and the insurance paid $368.00 for their part, are ready. Guess I will be going to the mall instead of the pool again.

Have not heard from Pete, his flight was almost one hour EARLY getting in to EWR (Newark), so by now I think he had enough time to drive up to Norwalk, fund his hotel, get cleaned up and dressed, and maybe on his way to the big dinner. As long as he doesn't call me at 3am tomorrow.............

Lars, frozen or rocks? Peach, Lime or Watermelon? Sorry we ran out of Mango and no one wanted to make another fruit run. Isn't our Cabana boy cute?

Woo boy. It took me a while to catch up here. It will take a long time to get my post numbers up. At least I was in the top 10 last home.

Went to work, drove 50+ miles to get DD, back home, then back to work. I took the afternoon off but they needed me back, on a Friday afternoon.

Anyway, it is the weekend now. Pass me a cold beer please. And is Juan gone already?

I got 2 more packages today, one from Yepod and one from Quinn in NY. If nothing else, the Angels keep the post office in business.
