September 6-13, 2025: 7-Night Western Caribbean (Treasure)

What was the deciding factor for choosing DCL?

We’re on this cruise too.
We’re Platinum but first time on the Treasure.
My partner and I have both had awful experiences on other cruise lines (Royal Caribbean and Carnival), so DCL was an easy choice. I sailed on the Wish in 2023 and 2024 and had great experiences both times, so was hoping for more of the same with the Treasure. I think in the end, it came down to DCL feeling like a more laid-back adult cruise line — without the casinos or party vibe of some others.

Have y'all enjoyed the Wish-class ships in your recent sailings?

No doubt that it’s is a totally different vibe on DCL ships, I prefer it because having had a very close and long relationship with the DIsney company I feel at home.

We have done the Wish and would do it again. The Treasure should be as good or even better.

It’s just me and my wife and we’re looking forward to experiencing a new ship.

Hi everyone…It’s pretty quiet around here. Add us in 2 adults celebrating my 50th birthday! I cannot believe I will be officially old 😜. It’s our 2nd Disney cruise and looking forward to it.

Welcome DisneyaholicRaquel.

Surprisingly our luggage tags arrived today. We usually get them very close to embarkation day or sometimes not at all.

Check in day is only eight days away. Always a challenge. We’re frequent cruisers on several cruise lines and DCL is always fun.

I don’t bother but you can check in at midnight.

As long as I’m onboard before the ship leaves, I’m happy.

Unless it’s changed, yes. That may be a reason to check in at midnight. It fills up quickly.

Where’s everyone coming from?
We live in north west Georgia and flying from Atlanta on cruise day.

Yes, it is very different from Michigan. We’re originally from New England.

We relocated to Georgia after 25 years in Florida because two of our kids and four of our grandkids live here. We didn’t have any family in Florida. But I’d rather be in Florida. The weather was never an issue.

That's funny it was either here or Georgia! Of course the "Mouse" won :-) We actually put an offer on a property in area called Alpharetta. The house looked amazing but, was going in kind of blind as we didn't know anything or anyone in Georgia.
