hi night owls:)

I start classes next week, just got to get the last few supplies

Good Morning!

I woke up about 1/2 hour ago & am wide awake......I hate it when that happens because now I'll be exhausted by 2 o'clock this afternoon:( Ususally only happens when I have something on my mind....... I think this time it was Matthew's band camp trip today. My mind keeps running through all the things he needs to pack trying to make sure he doesn't forget anything and I'm making myself a little nutso!

Melissa-I don't even want to think about what I could accomplish if I didn't Dis?!?! No need to know that & torture myself with the info cause I have no intention of quitting Dising anytime soon...so why drive myself crazy with something else...LOL...I'm crazy enough as it is!:p

CS-Hard to believe that your classes are starting again so soon isn't it? This summer just flew by! Before we know it we'll be worrying about Christmas shopping............

Hiya,

Morning Lars!! I can't believe how early you are up, you are going to be a very tired Angel later in the day!!

Sandi - *very* glad to hear your DS and GF are pretty much ok, that must have been scary!

We've had a busy weekend so I apologise for not having been around to help keep this thread bumped up! We've been sorting out our back garden, it was a real mess!

Well, take care, I'll be around later :)

Good morning!!!

Weather update: For those in Florida and those traveling this week (that's you Diane!!) the weather is following normal patterns. Highs in the high 80's to low 90's with afternoon thunderstorms each day possible. Our Riddlemeister is enjoying much cooler weather in Colorado with low humidity. Daytime temps are in the 70's and at night it can get down to 50!
(boy would I love those temps right now!)

It has cooled off around here and rained for much of the afternoon yesterday. No need to run that sprinkler!! :p

Hiya,

Morning Gail!!!

Hope everyone is well and that the WDW Angels are enjoying (behaving? ;)) themselves :)

Cya,
Gaspode

Good morning Angels! Hope everyone is fairing well.

I'm glad that things weren't more serious Sandi.

El, where's that trip report (No pressure since I won't be writing one either LOL);)

And good luck to Diane's last minute packing!

Good morning Angels. I had a terrible day yesterday and worse night last night. It is hot and humid here, so don't know if that is what triggered it, but breathing and weakness are back to what they were two weeks ago, and I only slept about an hour last night. ARGHH! I still have not had any luck getting doctors to do anything. The only thing that has been done is the pulmanologist gave me so mild asthma meds. This helped the upper respiratory congetstion, but has done nothing for the shortness of breath and pain. I also can't get into the doctor's office, and have been very frustrated with that. My doctor was deployed to Iraq a couple months ago, so I have to be worked in with other doctors in the clinic, and they aren't too eager to do that. I have been sick, going to doctors, having tests done that show abnormalities, but nothing is being done. Can you tell I'm VERY FRUSTRATED?!

Diane.....THIS IS AWFUL!!!! I was hoping you were well on the road to recovery. This setback is just horrible. Can you go outside your network to find a different set of doctors? It may be time to consider that route.

Sandi! Hope your son and his girlfriend are okay.....sheesh....it never rains but pours around here......

Good Morning, Everyone!

Good Morning Angels

Diane, so sorry you still aren't on the road to recovery.

Sandi, glad your DS and friends are OK.

Lars, Matt will be fine this week, and so will you. I am just like you in that I have trouble sleeping when something is on my mind. Hopefully you will sleep better tonight.

We went to the ocean yesterday. The weather was beautiful. Went to a Delaware State park. DD took a friend. We packed a picnic for the beach then went to Rehoboth for the boardwalk and dinner in a pizza place we like. Only a 2 hour drive. All in all, a very nice day.

Today I have patients to see then I am driving to Baltimore for a class from 4 - 9. Yuck, I hate taking classes but need to to keep my license.

See you all later.

Good morning all :)

Merry, still having internet troubles? I really hope you don't have to deal with that much longer!

CS, good luck with classes when they start!

Lars, I woke up really early too. Although it was amusing to watch me go through the house half drugged up on muscle relaxants too ;) Try not to wrry about Matthew's band camp... I went to mine 4 years and 2 years as a councelor... I survived :) I know it is hard.

Hi Melissa! Always nice to see you. Good luck with the garden!

Gail checks in with the weather. We had that same weather here that Florida is having this weekend. I love it when it is 95% humidity and no sign at all of any rain :p

Morning John :) Trip report?? From Todd & Amanda's? Hmmm... the quick of it is drove nearly 2 hours to N. KY. Had a great lunch. Met Keli, her DH (Dave) & daughter, Ashli. Catsrule stopped by. Talked a lot... ate a lot! Left just after 10 PM and came home :) No where is yours? ;)

 A riddle... nto sure I have time for it now... I'll check it when I get home.

Diane, I am so sorry you are having trouble again. I mentioned the low dose anti-depressants because one school of thought is that the sleep cycle is distrubed with those with FM (I have read so MANY ideas though... but I know this has worked for some on the DIS even). ANyway, because the sleep cycle is not quite right, the muscles aren't getting the rest and all that they need. That's why in the morning people with fibro feel tired and stiff and so worn out. Talk to them about it... it might be worth a shot. I am not focusing much on FM for me right now so I can't remember if I've read much else that might help you... I have this other issue that both of us are convinced is not fibro related, but I just thought I'd throw that out. I can feel your frustration though. Hang in there {{gentle hugs}}

I need to get back to work. I'll check in later.

Diane-I am so sorry to hear that you're not feeling any better & that you've had such a difficult time seeing a doctor that can help you. {{{hugs}}} my friend.

You've all seen the dancin' nekkid chicken............now I want opinions on the newest dancing farm animal I've found..............a dancin' Angel piggy

should this be the next riddle reward??

I like the dancing angel piggy. It's really cute!

The internet seems to be okay today. Knock on wood. I think the problem may be over. Yippeee!

Diane, I'm sorry that you are feeling bad again. I think it stinks that you can't get in a with a doctor when you've been having so much trouble! Hope things get better again quick. I'd hate for this to ruin your trip.

Lars, Matt will enjoy band camp. Our kids just have day band camp at school, but David has been having lots of fun. This is his next to the last day. Tomorrow is the contest between sections. He's been doing extra marching practice with the other trumpets. There is lots of bonding going on, I think.

School starts back up for my kids on Wednesday. I think they are ready. Just not ready to get up so early. David has to be at school at 7:00 this year and we are not morning people! All supplies are purchased (at least the ones we know that they need). Back to school usually means that we are only about a month away from cooler temperatures. I like the sound of that. We are back to the 100 degree weather again. I'm ready for fall temperatures.

Yea, I have read all that too. I have no doubt I have fibromyalgia, but I have this elevated hemidiaphragm that is the real cause of my breathing issue, and that seems to be what causes the sleep problem right now. I can't lie down flat becaused I am so short of breath in that position. There is also a thickening below and to the right of my sternum that seems to have something to do with that as well and is now causing pain. I just wish they would do more than "look at it"!

I like the angel piggy!

I love the piggy!!!!

So sorry you've had a rough stretch Diane. :( Hoping Disney and some ~pd~ help you feel better.

I'm working today too.

Diane,
Hope that things improve for/on your Disney Trip.
 to everyone else....I'll be back soon....really!

Bump...

Diane, I hope things get better very soon!

Meanwhile, I'm looking for a naked dancing chicken!
