Bermuda - When?

If they happen, they'll be included in the next schedule release that includes the Dream WBTA. I'm hoping the Dream does fall out of NY again as that's an easier port for me to get to, and we want to do one of those cruises for our 10 year.

I would think it depends if the Dream goes into dry dock after the Europe season or not. She’s not been on dry dock since COVID has she?

Love NYC<=>Bermuda (and sometimes beyond), but they don't always fill.
Even the Magic consolidated Evening Dining on a few last Fall . . . so we'll see.

I think they would do better selling them if they sailed while kids were out of school. So have a different ship sail Bermuda in the summer and then the WBTA end in Florida instead of NYC.

Maybe. I don't know. Bermuda has some beautiful resorts and beaches, BUT . . . it's not as kid-friendly (e.g. WDW, CCay) as a lot of places. I played a lot of tennis there when I was 14, but mostly loved the video-game room (I know). Zoo is awesome, snorkeling, sailing . . . Cave tour?

That’s the $64,000 question. Keep reading the Disboards and checking your email (I get a heads up from DCL - make sure you have that option checked for your Disney account).
Thanks for this! I just went to my account and realized that I didn’t have DCL emails checked!

The challenge with cruises to Bermuda is that Kings Wharf can only support two cruise ships at a time. During the peak tourist season, May to October, all available cruise slots are booked for years in advance. In 2023, the Fantasy, for the first time from Florida, had two cruises to Bermuda. The first Bermuda trip was in April and the second in October - outside of the peak tourist season. Unfortunately, the October Bermuda port calls were cancelled due to remnants of a tropical storm east of Bermuda. Both cruises were 8-night cruises.

Of course, DCL had Bermuda slots in the summer for 2023 cruises from NYC - but they do not have any slots for 2024 nor any cruises from NYC at least through May 2025. Thus, I would expect that if Bermuda cruise were added, it will be October 2025 or later.

With the arrival of the Treasure, I was hoping that the Fantasy would embark on longer (>7-nights) cruises to Bermuda and the far southern Caribbean from PC. For 2025, the Fantasy is only scheduled for 3- and 4-night cruises.

It's still listed as a destination on the drop down menu and also still on the Port Adventures page.

Thank you both for the information. I too hope that the Treasure or Fantasy will eventually go to Bermuda. Looks like I'll have to wait a couple of years to plan that.
