Andy, my DW has been attempting homemade pizza for years, but I always found it lacking until we bought a cast iron pizza pan. That seems to be perfect both for homemade pizzas and for warming up restaurant leftovers.

Yea, but will it work when the oven is on "BROIL" and not "BAKE" that's the question??? LOL!!!

OT...for those of you who have asked the name of the pizza place in Panama City Beach is "Joey's". It is located on Thomas Drive near the Spinaker. It is strickly a "take out" place right now, but they might be expanding to a "dine in" next year.

The great Pizza in Charleston is at a place called "CIBO's". It is located on James Island. It has a small dinning room (maybe 10 tables) and is a "mom and pop" type place. Is it worth driving 100 miles?? I think so, but pizza is very "personal". I would say if you are in Charleston it is worth going to the trouble to find it (i't a little off the main roads)

If anyone tries either of these places I would love to hear how you liked it!

We ate at Joey's in May after we left the Boardwalk Beach Resort.

We were looking for a place to find real Italian Spaghetti. We saw Joey's and it was wonderful. Kids and I had pizza.

We went back the second day and it was still good even though they were having a bad day.

It is definately New York pizza in Florida.

One more thing off topic. Do not go to Panama City Beach without eating at Pineapple Willey's. YUM!

was Berlitz even ON the Magic to review the food??? I can't believe they (He/She) didn't have anything nice to say.

By the way, we have a restaurant here in my town, The Rome, which makes great pizza...yep, and it's owned & operated by an Italian family

I guess they use their family's receipes. But then again, I'm Irish, so it all tastes Italian to me.

I have not had a good pie since eating at Pepe's some 13 years ago now! Wonder if they would deliver to the TDot!?!

There is no such animal here in Canada! What I wouldn't do for a good slice!
